*whispers* - Yes I know the banner and thread is cringe as hell but shhhhh
About us:
We are a small group of relaxed and adult (most of us are 20-25 years+) players looking for more members to fill our group for endgame content, most of us have played since beta and all have end game raid experience.
Our group will not be anything "tryhard" as its called but rather we just want to complete content for fun and have a laugh but still complete the content in reasonable fashion, that does not mean we will shy away from hard modes or "harder" content. We will most certainly do the hardest content as the group progresses. So yes in a way this is a progression group.
We find a lot of raid groups to be overly stressful (this is not a jab at them) some people prefer that environment to play in - helps them focus etc we do not. So we wanted to create something different without the stress, focused but fun (laugh off the fails basically). We wont shout at you for anything really. If you hear shouting do not worry thats just our angry viking that you will meet - also seems to think hes Russian but hes actually Norwegian.
Just have a laugh, make some friends and destroy those raids!
Our Goal:
Too have a relaxed environment where we can all have a laugh but also complete the content efficiently without people shouting at each other in the process. We also want to progress with various trials some of the group haven't had a chance to complete due to the restrictions of some groups and the lack of available end-game groups overall. As time goes on if you'd want to swap role at some point to try something new you'll be able to too so that you can practice provided we complete the content first properly - We will want to do mostly the more recent trials from morrowind to summer-set and of course the new trial sunspire.
We will likely want to hunt achievements in those trials at some point as well (once the group chemistry is built up) which will include hardmodes by default. This will also include completing vCR normally then +1, +2 and +3.
Play times:
We will only be playing one night a week due to the amount of people in the group having work or university to deal with + any and all issues outside of the game however should all members have time we will schedule more runs in a single week than just once a week but only when everyone has time. Current play times are undecided until the roster is filled.
Note: While no schedule yet, expect any organised raid night to start between 18:00 and 19:00 GMT+0 (20:00 CEST) (this is due to people getting home from work at 17:00 ish and wanting a rest before jumping on or have to help with family stuff first)
What we're looking for in the players we recruit:
1) Able to take a joke (very few things are off the table in terms of humour with us as long as its respectful and done in a playful manner - dark humour is fine too but it has limits).
2) Able to take criticism or suggestions without feeling "attacked" lol (the times we live in....*sigh*)
3) Have a headset and are willing to communicate (we will not say "no" if you dont talk much or dont have a microphone but both are preferred as it helps + its fun to interact ^^).
4) Willing to learn mechanics (Also helps if you're a patient person)
5) Commitment, i.e not bailing at the last second or just giving up half way through an evening. Its once a week, dont want to waste everyones time ^^
6) Relaxed person who doesn't rage every 5 seconds.
7) OWN YOUR MISTAKES and try not to blame others for your mistakes. Knowing when you mess up and helping people figure out what they've done wrong is key to improving yourself and a good group. (this is mostly for things that can cause group wipes etc)
8) If you're a DPS must be at the very least 35k to ensure all non-hardmode trials can be completed. We will want to do hardmodes so its somewhat expected that if you're at that 35k exactly then it will improve over time as 40-45k dps is needed at the very least for hardmodes (excluding one or two) You must also be willing to improve upon that and if you need help to get those sets to get you up into the 40s or higher we will happily help you do that, the more group damage we have the better off we will be.
9)Finally at least one completion of vMoL. Though we are not against people who haven't completed it yet joining us vMoL is a good testbed as it shows you can work well with the groups you are in, communication, adaptability and a willingness to learn. vMoL is still a struggle for many players even now. Again we want to have fun but we do want to complete the content as well and not be stuck in one raid for an entire month.
Additionally: Prior endgame raid experience is helpful and preferred, but not 100% mandatory for DPS roles
If you want a relaxed place to go to just do raids once a week because you haven't got time for normal raid groups due to work or uni taking up the time those groups run or like us all your friends are already in raid groups then just leave a message on here on the thread or send me a private message alternatively contact any of of the following myself included: @xeNizKing @Flamebeur
