Stamina/Magicka Divide and Attribute Scaling

I wish ESO was less penalizing when it comes to playing as you want. I'd love to sling spells and also unleash arrows, but I can't do both without them drastically cutting into one another's effectiveness. It's just stupid that we are often forced to decide between a magicka or stamina build, and that any decision to split between the two means that you and the rest of your group members suffer. It's just not fun and feels so limiting. Why should my group suffer if I want to use Destro Staff + Bow?

I hate seeing the creative director drop the "play how you want/play how you like" line because it just feels like a dirty half-truth. Yes, you can play how you want, BUT... you really shouldn't unless you want to be that person who makes things harder for you and your group members.

Please, ZOS, when you go to redesign Champion Points, get rid of this stupid stamina/magicka divide and attribute scaling.

Well we can't totally abandon the concept of linking skills scaling with attributes etc. but there is something that could open some new options for many of us.

Let the skills scale of sum of our spell and weapon damage and sum of our max stamina and magicka. This way tank or someone built for sustain won't have insane damage but if someone prefers the hybrid magicka/stamina gameplay it would be highly effective.

Ofc things like spell/weap crit chance, resistances or penetration would still be calculated separately.

Imagine you can diversify your pools to have 20k magicka and 20k stamina without worrying about weakening your self because it adds to eachother.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

Shouldn't the soft caps that were in place before have helped with this? ...Why were they removed in the first place?

    IMO . . .
    ESO is a good MMO.
ESO is a bad TES game.
    . . . It is still a good MMO.

    Your reasons explain my opinion.
