We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.
what do you think goes through the mind of someone when they get 1vx'ed?
Can't say for sure, but I always assume they rez and go on with their lives because they're playing a video game and it has no effect on their sense of self worth.
It’s when pvpers build a strong solo spec and find nooblets to pick on.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten
sometimes I'll chase dude around a tower or rock, sometimes we win, sometimes not. But I go in with the knowledge "this build is a bow-bow, support, cc, build, it's not built for single target damage, let alone hold it's own against SuperDueler", so I kinda expect to get killed.
btw, not caring if you get killed is one hell of a disruption tactic for group combat.
"BOW CHARGE!!!!!"
(although the recent increase in PVL has curtailed said bow charging)
When I get destroyed in PVP I laugh and rez. It's not a big deal to me. I expect to not survive long in PVP. Many of those PVP players are exceptional.
Two days ago I was with three others in Cyrodil in the lowbie no cp campaign. We were taking resources and keeps for AP to level. All of us are PVE players and were having fun.
Then we came across a lone Mag DK. Wow was this player good! He destroyed all of us several times. LOL. We rezzed not too far from the burial site and he found us again. LOL. It was epic. We finally beat him one time and he rezzed some where nearby and returned to destroy us again.
Hats off to that player! No hate whispers either from any of us. Such a great time!
It happens to everyone. I've been on the X side. And I think we'll that was a mistake, should have done x,y, or z.
I have also been the 1 in 1vx, i have 1vx'ed played who I know are good and some better than myself. Its just using the environment and capitalizing on mistakes made.
