Blastbones should have zero activation time at all. It should be reminiscent of Cliff Racer where you summon it and it directly jumps onto your target and explodes.

Blastbone hits slightly harder than Sorcerer's Curse (even more against vampires) and spammable Curse is not only OP it would make Flaming Skull meaningless.

Infact, Blastbone's delayed damage is what makes it powerful because you can time it with other skills for a short but bursty damage in pvp. It just needs to be faster and more reliable

plus there's the fact that they would have to rework the stalking blastbones morph because its bonus damage is based on the time it spends chasing the target. I already feel like this should be changed because its so unreliable atm, but dropping the cast time definitely doesn't seem like the right way to fix the skill.

What would higher speed actually change? Then I wait one second less that it misses the target. Nice!

The idea of the skill isn’t bad but this is ESO where things like this barely work. For sure the damage must be adjusted when it’s turned into a semi-instant skills.

It could be turned into a DoT with an explosion at the end to benefit from Necromancer‘s passive and still do something during its first seconds. I have no idea on how to make this skill work in another way, Curse at least never misses its target because it’s directly applied to it.

I think survivablity and healing potential are where necro shines the most. Necro is very tanky I constantly have times in BGs where people pile on me and the bone armor + resistant flesh heal + harness magicka + concentrated barrier passive keeps me up everytime long enough to get my hp up to kite out. Only hope for an opponent is I run out of magicka which can happen but I OD on my sustain. I just don’t think magnecro is bad or weak as everyone makes it seem on here. Anything the class lacks can be worked around. Not saying DPS can’t use some buffs BUT it is fine if they don’t buff it. I’m speaking from PVP perspective though. I built my necro for PVP

why would we even need to have Major Sorcery in the toolkit? If you're maxing alchemy like you should be doing on every character, you can make potions that give Major Sorcery and Major Prophecy for 47.5 seconds.

What a garbage excuse coming from a player that has no idea how most players operate in this game. Contrary to your belief, most players don't have millions of gold and mats to waste. Burning through hundreds of spell power potions for dungeons or trials when their group is subject to frequent wipes is NOT realistic for them, or really anyone. You may have the resources to waste, but I assure you the majority of the player base isn't in that position or would they even if they had the resources. Not having Major Sorcery in the toolkit is unacceptable - period. Thankfully, I got a response from Brian Wheeler from the AMA Reddit event and he said that they were aware of it among other issues - so even ZoS disagrees with you.

I mean if you're not trying to get max dps in trials then whats the point? Your group loses dps because you are too cheap? FLip some items, go farm.

Even just get the pots from the ap vendor or buy them cheap.

It's about principle. I will never use damage buff potions because it's a waste of resources to tie your build to needing to chain-chug potions in order to even be effective, especially in the event of a group wipe. I also refuse to play Guild Traders Online - I have better things to do.

So, using potions as part of your rotation is 'garbage' and costs 'millions of gold and mats', but it's totally okay to shoehorn in a skill that forces you to take it because it provides something like major sorcery which doesn't last nearly as long as a potion, and it wastes one of the precious few skill slots we have? Forgive me, but i fail to see the logic in your statement.

first of all drama queen, magicka potions don't cost "millions of gold", they don't cost you anything at all if you actually collect the mats yourself (which a lot of people do btw). The mats themselves are reasonably inexpensive if you don't feel like going out to harvest them, and again, if you're maxing alchemist (which is incredibly easy to do) the duration of the effects last longer than any skill in game. Not only that, but it lets you take out that skill (ie, sorc's power surge) and place another damage skill in, further increasing your dps.

Second of all, most players who do more than grind dungeon queue or Battlegrounds to hit 50 will have a large store of mats (especially those who have ESO Plus, which a *lot* of people do.)

it all boils down to you either being too lazy to get the mats yourself or too cheap to buy potions or mats in bulk from the guild trader.

Third, a majority of the meta builds for endgame require you to factor potions into your rotation. considering the fact that they don't proc skill cooldowns and restore resources rather than consuming them, most guides include them as a requirement.

Forth, and finally, just because ZoS is aware of an issue, doesn't mean they can fix it. You'd think people would learn that by now.
