I've quit playing after a bit each time I login now. I just cannot take it. The fps is sooooo bad it's giving me headaches and forcing me to scream at the tv. Not. Cool.

✭I have an xbox1x and external ssd. 400 Mb connection.
The only big issue I have right now is sudden drop in FPS. This can happen just standing in one location or moving around. Started right after I installed Elswyer.
I thought I just needed the standard cache clear restart but this has not helped.
Outside of PVP I can deal but in the middle of a PVP battle it will get me killed often.

Syuko✭✭✭Yes, fps definitely drops randomly or when you port to a wayshrine. I haven't stepped into any dungeons or trials in a while because I can never do anything properly because of it. Everything else is fine shockingly.. 😕1 -

Yeah it's been terrible since the Elsweyr update and didn't get any better with the subsequent patch.

Um if the garbage fire that is Anthem is still going ESO will be around for years.
You don't know what a bad game is till you put in 100 hours into Anthem. And the CEO is by God gonna stick with it for 7 more years (or so he says)

I can assure you it's not OP's internet that's the problem.
Server stability has been terrible since Elsweyr hit. Frame rate drops. Visual FX & sound lag. Multiple "this may be an unusually long load time" loading screens. Loading screen crashes.
OP's not the only one affected by this. Look around the forums and you'll see many threads all saying the same thing.

fletchunit✭✭Xbox na player here, im glad im not the only one suffering here. I’ve cancelled my eso plus and stopped logging in altogether, as i just cant take the lagg and fps drop anymore its s joke! The game was at least playable pre-Elsweyr.
