If you only have stam characters don't try to run them as a healer, but you'll be just fine as a tank (and will have shorter queue times).
Really it would be best to make a dedicated char into a tank so you can choose the right morphs on skills and properly support your group.

Instead I got to thinking: with 64-points in Stamina only, could I still fill the role of a tank or even a healer with JUST a Gear & Skill swap?
Keep in mind, I am specifically talking for Non-DLC Vet-Pledges. I'm not expending to go into endgame trials like this. I just want to know, given the proper gear/skills/food, if I could queue for a non-DPS role without being dead weight on my team.
For healer it is even easier, since healer naturally needs a lot of effective spell power to heal.. so you just slot more dps skills and that's all.SpeedBoostTorchic wrote: »MartiniDaniels wrote: »Yes, all base vets are easily tankable with 25k HP and 25k resistances. (if you are CP500+)
Thanks for the reply mate! What about healer? Is there are chance? If you only have stam characters don't try to run them as a healer, but you'll be just fine as a tank (and will have shorter queue times).
I don't ONLY have stam characters, but I am asking about them because obviously its ridiculously easy to run a Magdps as a Healer, since they share the same attributes. Why is it so impossible to run them as healers though? Isn't only like a 6.4k difference in Magicka? Is it really that much of a problem in Base-game vets?Really it would be best to make a dedicated char into a tank so you can choose the right morphs on skills and properly support your group.
I already HAVE a dedicated character for that. I'm trying to run Pledges on multiple characters, A.) So I can get more keys and B.) because I need to train the Undaunted skill line on them. It's these characters that I'm having queue issues with, so I was wondering if (for base game pledges only) they could be "good enough" in the other roles with proper skills & gear.

Easy. My tank has full points in stamina as well. You can use gear to make sure you reach an adequate amount of health. As a for your info: you can reach >65.000 health without putting a single point in the health attribute.

But in practice you reach whopping 38k if properly geared. Ok, 45k if Imperial and with minor toughness active.

For non DLC, yeah.
For DLC dungeons, especially the latter ones, probably could do tank. Just gear for lots of health.
