    Actually, the recipes were not the seller for me. The costume and the emotes were. :)

    Almost bought this, but seemed too good to be true so I googled it. As expected, it's misleading unless you pay attention to the exact wording of "writ" recipes. Should make that extra clear in the description. Can't imagine how many people will buy it thinking they'll get everything added and the other .

    It says Provisioning Writ Recipes and lists the quantity, 78. Every green tier recipe you can buy from a brewer or a chef for writ purposes. Really not that hard to figure out.

    The bundle could have easily been sold for several thousand crowns. There aren't any victims.

    I just thought of it as 700 crowns to buy a costume and emotes. Everything else was worthless to me, including the recipe book. But as a whole, it was worth it, I think.

    The provisioning station costs 2k crowns if you buy it alone from the Crown store furnishing tab (although most people buy them with in game gold or writ vouchers). Costume + emotes about on par with what they charge for costumes (500-1k crowns). Its like getting the provisioning station for free. Plus a few hearth furnishings. Pretty decent deal IMO.

    Nobody in their right mind would buy the provisioning station with Crowns, though. On PC/NA, the unbound voucher version sells for about 25-30K gold, which at the prevailing crown-to-gold exchange rate on PC/NA puts it at about 120 crowns in value--nowhere near the 2.7K crowns that ZOS charges for it.

    (It's similar to the value proposition of buying Crown soul gems.)

    In any case, if you account for that, then it means it's like spending 580 crowns for a costume and a few emotes.

    Is the recipe book use per character (like a motif book) or able to be shared between toons?

    I agree that it's a pretty good deal. I wasn't going to buy it unless I felt the price was reasonable for the costume, since it's the only thing in there I want. I can buy provisioning stations for vouchers and can craft all but the garlic string furnishing. Don't care about the emotes or the recipe book (though I will use it on my new character).

    @DovahkiinHeart

    You can pass the intact book to any character that needs it. The one that 'uses' it will learn all the recipes needed and then the book goes away.
