Where can I find Mutton Flank and Wasp Squeezings? (Daggerfall)

The lack of those two (or other recipes) seems huge.

I am lacking 2.5 levels to 20 Provisioning, while I have over 100 Materials to craft level 20+ food, I am missing the above 2 ingredients to get towards 20.

A few of these have been appearing in my inventory (auto loot ), so I don't know exactly where they came from, but somewhere in Glenumbra. I was able to hit lvl 20 provisioning without them, using lower level recipes.

Try zapping a sheep or two outside of Daggerfall city. Since mutton comes from sheep I assume they would drop same.

I tried to kill the sheeps next to the Daggerfall city but - no drop of the Mutton flank. I moved to the north of the first area and found 2 sheeps in lvl 12 zone - these sheeps had quick respawn. 6 kills, 4 mutton flanks.
Btw I also have the same problem, from the beginning I had to destroy most of the food as the junk and now I have 12 provisiong with 90 percent of the bank filled with 20 lvl ingredients for food cooking

I have 17 now (1 from bookcase and rest from the exploration of the first area). GL

I have the same issue - either all level 1-10 mats or all 20+, I find very few "wine grapes" or "brown malt" or "mutton flank" , and the lootables in crates and sacks goes from level 1-5 junk to 20+ mats as soon as you leave glenumbra for stormhaven.

Wasp Squeezings practically do no exist right now in daggerfall areas. I assume (from the name) that it comes from harvesting wasps (or wasp nests), but I haven't found a single one, so I gave up on provisioning.
I can see thousands of butterflies, fleshflies and fireflies, but no wasps (or whatever drops them).

I've found Mutton Flank and Wasp Squeezings in random barrels, crates, and sacks from Daggerfall up to Camlorn. At first they rarely showed up, however appeared more frequently as Provisioning went up (currently at lvl 20). Good luck in your search.

Since they share the same pool as other T1 food levels 1-10, the level 15 food/drink are just random drops in the same area. All these items drop in crates and barrels and do not drop out of any special containers.

I got most of mine to hit 20 Provisioner in the Crosswych area which dropped all 3 major food and all 3 major drink components. Lots of crates lying around outside.

The Northern end of Daggerfall is the best place. I seriously cannot remember the name of the last town, the one that is infested with Bloodthorn when you first get there. That town's inn, has a basement, in which you'll find what you are looking for. Best advice is to search every house in that town for barrels and crates. That's how I got my Provisioning skill into the 30's. Best of luck to ya!

I got mutton flank from killing a random sheep or goat, I honestly can't remember which.
