Kicked from the server for "spamming"? WTH?

How the hell can I be kicked from the server for "spamming" when I don't even use the damn text/voice chat OR mailing system?

    One of your mods might have been spamming server with calls or something...

    Good. Hate ppl spamming stuff they are selling instead of using trade post

    Did it say spamming, or excessive messaging/messages? If the latter, it meant you made too many requests for the servers at once, which often happens in things like lag spikes.

    Do a search here, it's a poorly worded error message that has been around since beta.
    It's client/server communication messages, not you typing messages in the chat or mail.

    Usually happens when there is (server) lag and the client keeps spamming messages because it doesn't get an answer from the server.

    Yes, it was something like that, but the word "spamming" caught my eye. So I thought WTH?

    Spamming buttons while in lag spike causes this.

    If you hammered button to join queue it can happen as a result.

    I had this once when I tried an addon for fast change of skills and armor and tried to keybind some setups. But I got a warning before.
    Main char is a Strong Nord Man, Thief, Vampire, Healer, Mastercrafter. PC-EU since 2016.

    This ^ and what everyone else constructive is saying. It happens in lag and has been a very long know issue.

    My partner and I have had this. Frustrating as heck. Such a poor system. A queue for the queue which can kick you out of the game. Bearing in mind they stated to keep trying the button until it lets you in. Hmmmm.

    Happened to me twice before. Both times I was completely silent while I was questing. Its lag related
