Xbox NA vs EU Performance

Hi everyone, im looking to get some insight into the difference between NA and EU servers on xbox in terms of performance. I have been playing on the NA server for about 18 months since i started playing this game , i play from Australia as do most of my friends, and Since the release of the Elsweyr chapter ive been experiencing terrible game performance from overland quests/ combat, dungeons , battlegrounds , and trials, the game is literally unplayable for me right now, and from what i have been reading on these forums and talking to people in game im not the only one who has been having these problems. So my question to the people playing on the Eu server, have you seen a dramatic decrease in game performance since the release of Elsweyr ? As i would seriously consider starting out fresh on EU just to enjoy this game again without getting massive lagg. Thank you in advance for your advice/ opinions.

✭I’ve got 10 chars on Xbox eu and 5 on NA
EU started going downhill with nerfmire but when elsewyr dropped its become almost unplayable. But the weird thing is it’s like stops and starts
Great example I was in a vSS the other day. The first ad pull was down to 2-3 FPS . The cat adds were hovering in the air for 1-2 seconds! It was like something out of the matrix. Anyway first add pull done and the rest of the trial went mostly ok, but at the end of the fire dragon it started dropping again - maybe to 20fps or so. That went on to the end - It was definitely not a smooth fight .
Trying to do a 0 death on vet mhk is impossible when you can’t see mini adds until after you die (when the animation has caught up!)
It even affects the dead zones. There was no one on the bottom end of Malabal tor yesterday except for myself and it still was a lagfest!
NA has always been very jerky (maybe 20fps or so) but that might be cos I’m in UK and can’t expect Uber performance- I’ve only been in there once since elsewyr and it was pretty bad but that was only based on a 5 min experience
TLDR . EU is mostly unplayable except for the odd few minutes in between fights . NA has always been that way but is now worse

fletchunit✭✭MJallday Thanks for the insight, i may not bother starting on Eu then, sounds like its no better or worse than Na. Waiting this one out until things improve seems like the only option until things improve.

✭Currently playing on Xbox NA and EU I live in the US in Colorado and from where I live EU runs ALOT smoother than it does on NA and I also run an Xbox X with a 4TB SSD as well as 1 gig upload and 1 gig download speeds0 -

Waiting is a good option. One thing I’ve noticed is that if there’s fighting going on in the vicinity’s/area it slows down dramatically but if there’s no fighting it’s all good. I appreciate that’s not exactly science so I’ll try and spot some patterns later to see what I can see
FWIW a lot of us players I talk too say that EU is better than US so it does make me wonder about capacity issues0
