Graphical bug since Elsweyr, anybody else have?

zebra54321
Been getting these weird boxy roads since I got back into the game with Elsweyr. Anybody else having this? I have been playing since launch and this has never happened before. Any who does have it, have they found any fixes? Should I report it?

Thanks

Thanks. Where's that road? Looks like maybe Glenumbra? In any case, I haven't seen that sort of road in Elsweyr.

Now, for posting into the body: once you add the pic to your imgur account, and it's done, mouseover the right top corner, click on the dropdown arrow, Click on Get Share Links, find BBCode (forums), click the blue "Copy" button; paste that into the post.

I've been getting this bug everywhere as far as I can tell. Haven't played much in Elsweyr yet since I'm leveling up a character for it, just been playing in DC (all areas have had it that I've been to in DC). Here's another example of the issue.

Both of these are from Glenumbra.

Yeah, I thought that's where it was. I haven't seen that myself. Have you updated drivers for your vid card?

I have a fully updated nvidia driver if that's what you mean. The game runs well with decent FPS and I would think that I would have had this problem before Elsweyr if it was a computer problem, though that might not be the case.

Hmm. Have you tried rolling back your NVIDIA drivers? Sometimes the "latest and greatest" - aren't all that great. I only update mine about once a year, as I never play any of the "new" games the latest drivers are set for.

Huh. What drivers am I even running now? Wait a bit, let me check....

Well.... pretty old. 10.18.13.6143 - and I had to roll back some drivers a while back because things went wonky with Excel for some weird reason. So I got back that far, and the wonkiness went away.

I'm not updating NVIDIA drivers much at all right now - vid card is GTX 960 4GB, and things work just fine on these (seriously antique) drivers....

There's a problem with the latest nvidia drivers, but they were rushed to fix a vulnerability for your protection. So revert back at your own risk.

I'll wait it out then, see if it continues. Maybe try turning off the driver and seeing if reverting to my built-in driver does anything. Will update if this issue continues. Thanks!
