Would targeting help in pvp?

I am running a stamina Warden and I feel like sometimes it`s a bit hard to land dizzying swings and executes amid the caos of BGs. Do you think that by locking onto one target with the `cycle preferred enemy target` hotkey would help in dealing the blows smoother and faster?

I am just not sure whether it`s something I should use or not.

Hard targeting should prioritize your abilities.

it only outline the target like a wallhack.
so no tab targeting mmo style lock in this game.

There is a tab-targeting system, however it still follows line of sight guidelines. Your skills will prioritize the target you select and you can cycle through targets, but if anything/anyone is between you and your target (hence the LoS), your spell will hit them.

I may be wrong, but I believe that is how the targeting system works in ESO from what I remember. I just remember tanking, and my taunts hitting other mobs that got between me and the boss I was targeting.
