But don't wish that an event not targeted towards you or your liking--but rather a different group of players--doesn't make a return simply because you don't like PvP.

It's the Dungeon event (not to be confused with the Undaunted event):

Technically you can get the rewards from the final boss in any dungeon but it's not hard to guess which one most people will choose.

It's a jab at the events that required people to complete a random dungeon through the dungeon finder. When you queue for a random dungeon you can switch from the designated dungeon to another (easier) one, like Fungal Grotto 1, and still receive credit for completing the event activity through the dungeon finder. This makes it a lot faster to complete event content on multiple characters. It also has the effect of not being able to complete the assigned random dungeons if you want to, because so so many people port to FG1 from whatever random dungeon was assigned.
