yeah anyone who thinks by limiting the player base is a better system and a system that encourages guild leaders to get rich and ditch the guild Yup waaaaay better, at least with the AH no guild leader takes advantage of a guild pockets hundreds of millions and ditches it.9 -

I have currently saw price manipulations not only once by those who have owned the best trade guilds
there is insane of time waste going through nonsense of loading screens per 5 traders if we want go for more...
you need to waste guild slot for trade guild to have an better option to make money
you need to care to not be kicked from this guild because you had 1k to small amount of sales this week
we could mention even more bad things about guild trader system (*cough*not so long ago there was whinings on forum how someone bough almost all traders spots on an console and these was empty ghoust traders with nothing to sell*cough*)6 -

Or how about text chat on console?
Or how about outfit change abilitys besides costumes?
Or how about when content is too hard for players and it gets nerfed?
Or how about moves getting nerfed?
Lorebooks and psijic are probably coming just like skyshards too.
How about the golden vendor coming to pvp as to buy monster sets/jewelery you get in dungeons?
Just saying never say never because it has been shown that these polls that happen never matter because the polls always showed people didn't want all those things listed above, and yet here we are with all of them today.7 -

The sheer popularity of MM and TTC indicates that it is what players want.
Whenever you want to look at what players want, just look at what they are downloading for Addons. One of the most popular TES4 mods was travelling merchants -- and look what we have in ESO: travelling merchants.

✭✭✭✭✭the same people asking constantly for a global ah would be the same spamming the forum with threads about how the resulting monopolies makes it impossible for the to buy anything.... if at all i would in fact bann apps such as ttc or the guildstore one...it only leads to more monopolies4 -

At this point if an AH were to happen several of those with real wealth will absoluty monoploize the market out of spite.
People get tired of being labeled villians and if one must endure the label why not benifit from what you are already condemmed for.3 -

Never say never. Remember when Matt Firor and others said ESO would never have loot boxes or a cash shop and the only way they could provide a high level of quality content updates and "premium" customer service was with a subscription model? Yeah, how did that work out?

Current system leads to a healthy economy, gold inflation is out of sight and that's a good sign this game's markets are stable the way they are.PC/DC/NAserver

First of all lol, per your spoiler.
Second of all an overly generalized comment as you have in the OP is just empty words which means it starts off which empty words as well since Most of us know nothing is pretty empty.
Besides that, you will never see an auction house in this game as long as Matt Firor is here. The current system is what they wanted in this game and they explained why over 5 years ago. No one has stated any reason to make it worth spending the money to revamp it either.
So start all the threads you want to advocate for a Ah but this is one subject that will continue to fail.0 -

If you're on pc/na I can give you the names of at least 6 that require no minimum sales, no required raffle, no required donations. Only requirement is "Log in once a week". Raffle ticket purchases are voluntary. So are any donations. There are guilds out there that don't have requirements. People tend to hear about the ones that do, so never bother to look.2 -

When I am looking for something specific, usually a motif or recipe, how am I supposed to know Which trader has the guild that actually has the item I want?
Not sure how the 'waste your time running around the map to the traders you Do know about' is such a great system.
The 'manipulation' issue is irrelevant. Both can be manipulated. The question is - What system allows me to actually find my item IF it is actually on sale?

It IS NOT stable at all on console lol.
If it were stable then everyone (without addons) would be able to know x item is worth a certain price.
What we have now is 12 different prices of items depending on what zone you travel to. That is called unstable because no one knows if it should be worth 5k or if it is a 100k item......
The current system isn't healthy, it isn't fine for the buyer, it isn't okay as a seller on console because you need to pay 15+k a week to access a good spot, people buy spots and sell them for 10x the gold they spent or even just hold entire zones hostage, this system is so perfect that PC players are crying because their add-ons got disabled and saying trading isn't possible without them even though console has been doing it for 5 years or so now, yep that is stable and working though 😉😉😉😉3 -

✭✭✭This is NOT a pc vs console issue. Some of the biggest proponents of the guild trader system are console players, and some of the skeptics (like myself, sylvermynx, many others) are pc players. Please stop making this about pc vs console.

Thanks to the ones that have answered, no I am on pc eu. I will try to look for a less demanding guild in one of my characters, the warden that does little damage.
Well the actual systems has the advantage that you can find some bargains using tamariel trade center or just checking guildstores, in a gloval ah people would buy them and resell them at a higher price.0 -
