We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

Is it worth coming back?

I quit the game roughly 8 or 9 months ago due to the extremely poor performance of the game (horrible loading times, dysfunctional dungeon finder and broken PvP, just to name very few of them). Has anything improved in the meantime or should I save my money?

    I cannot tell about PvP,
Loading times have noticeably improved - but they're still there
DF is currently very, very broken. Up to the point that now there's a queue for queuing. So the UI tells you more often then not than "you cannot queue at the moment".

Overall, performance issues are still big in ESO.

Nope, try it for free first because I'm almost sure you'll be disappointed. Even bugs that were "introduced" almost 10 months (and even more) ago are still here.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

If you quit over performance then no reason to come back. To put it simply, if that was the issue you can easily give up on ever coming back. Play a lesser game that has better performance if that is what you want.

Zos does blame some of the newer issues on more active players loading the server.

It's always worth coming back to this fantastic game! Come explore, come hunt, come play how you want!

Stay away unless you are a role player or quester, and even some of them might be fed up at this point. If you're main goal is to pvp then i would suggest forgetting this game exists.. At least til something or someone changes at zos but ive been hoping for that for years.

I recentely came back to ESO after having a 2ish year break from the game.
And so far I am enjoying it, new trials and dungeons are pretty neat (can't wait to challenge them).
PVP is okay? of what I have played so far lol.

The performance issues are pretty gamebreaking sometimes though. 1fps after coming into a certain zone lol (PS4)

I wanted to be more of a dungeon runner if that's what it's called. Essentially do dungeons and trials so many times I'd know the ins and outs of everything. Sadly I didn't get very far due to dungeon finder kicking me out 70% of the time, staying in queue forever or people not cooperating.

    Playability is still compromised.

That's the most polite and honest that I can be.

    Here's the pact:
No more money until playability is restored.

    Put that in your siggie.

Pretty sure Knowledge quit the game and returned so it would seem they are serious. At least they typed out their comment.

I quit after few days of eso launch, so it is worth while for me to come back. I guess you need to wait for another 4 years?
