Crash To Desktop Error! Best Way To Get Feedback?
Each day I play ESO I know there will be several bugs that have to be worked out and so I treat this game like a new bottle of wine that over time as it matures will get better and better ^^ but one issue I have been getting frequently are CTD's (Crash To Desktop) and each time I make sure when the box appears with all my computer info and crash explanation I submit it. I was just wanting to know what the quickest and most efficient way of getting some type of Technical Support Feedback with this CTD issue. I think with us giving reliable Feedback to one another in the most efficient manor we will be able to help both me as a subscriber, with a more reliable and enjoyable game play experience, and you and the entire team at Zenimax/Bethesda creating the ultimate MMO for your subscribers and watching your MMO Subscribers one day break the most subscribers ever for one MMO. Thanks for your time a patience reading and addressing this concern.

I'm not saying no one is having CTD's, just that I have never experienced that and found this crazy that you were getting it quite often.1 -
BeeK✭Yeah, just ask in the forums here like you have done. Lots of folks out there who know a bit about this and that.
A CTD is pretty harsh, usually (from my experience) caused by another application or hardware conflict. I would update my graphics card, check all pertinent Windoze updates, close anything running except the game, and choose a lower graphics setting for the game itself. If I still got the same CTD, I would look into the operating system itself and upgrade if necessary and the graphics card and memory as well.
But that's just me.
(Also try to submit some of the info from your DXDiag to share. Not the personal stuff, though. In Windows, hit WIN key+R, then type 'Dxdiag' and hit enter.)

I have 2 computers running ESO. One a desktop with a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and a laptop that is a little older. Both of them have CTD errors multiple times daily.
Today I decided to keep trac. I counted 12 times my desktop had CTD errors and the laptop it happened 9 times.... Pretty damned annoying.
The desktop has a Geforce 770, 16GB memory, i5-4670. I don't think it's a hardware issue.0 -

My son actually can't play the game. We just bought him a new Razer Blade Pro which is running an Nvidia GTX 800 or so, if I recall right. CTD every time he logs into the game. We've submitted multiple tickets and aside from asking for additional information, we've heard nothing. That's $100 down the drain and a very disappointed kid.0

Wait, at what stage does the game crash to desktop? Right at login, after login, when game loads, during game play? I ask because if it is crashing before gameplay, it's a driver issue or the game needs repaired (from my experience).0 -
Ty all for the suggestions and comments. I was at one point almost positive it was some type of software/app causing a conflict while it was running in the background. So I did a complete clean install of Windows and after double checking everything in startup services and looking up everything single service that runs in the background online to determine if there might be a hidden virus/malware or running conflict but everything was 100% good. So then I started thinking what I didn't want to think was wrong, which was some hardware going bad (even though I just finished building a pretty high end gaming PC 1 month ago but I thought well it's technology and even if it's only a day old something could still go bad) So I tested all the Hardware at UT Knoxville Computer Science Dept. (since I'm there Mon-Fri anyway why not) and everything is fine with the Hardware. My specs from doing a DxDiag will be in a new reply post following this one and I also edited the amount of info in it to what I figured is the most important information about how this custom built was put together.

Mine crashes at random moments when I'm in game and I don't think it has ever crashed early into booting up ESO but instead mid way into playing.0 -

And I just had a Crash to Desktop and I have been on playing since my last post which was 2hrs and 20 mins ago. All I was doing was a quest where I open portals with stones found off the dead body of a cultist that has a robot for a pet and why walking around one of there little camps waiting for them to re-spawn I crashed to my desktop with a Crash Report to submit.0

ejortiz11rwb17_ESOSoul ShrivenI'm having similar crashes as well. Game crashes to desktop randomly. Here are some of my specs:
i7 3930k - no o/c
GTX 670 - no o/c
32GB RAM - no o/c
Windows 7 PRO 64 bits
I was using the 331.82 drivers, but to try to fix the crashes I upgraded to 337.50. The crashes stopped for a couple of days, but recently started again. CPU fan goes into the high 60 C's when playing. I experience few crashes with other games, and play most of them at high or near high settings.
I tried lowering and removing some graphic options in ESO like AO, shadows, sun rays. Crashes continue unfortunately. If any NVIDIA users find the fix, let us know
