While it is not the first time someone asked a rigged question like this, but curious what OP actually expected. Those answering now are not playing this game or are just chronic complainers.
Lets be real. Who frequents a forum for a game they think is bad? Trolls is about is since anyhow who truly thinks this game is bad has moved on to something else.

I don’t know anything about WOW because I never played it. Even ESO trailers probably wouldn’t mean much if I didn’t already like Elder Scrolls from randomly playing Morrowind years ago. Is it even possible to show all the possibilities in such large games through trailers?I was looking at video of wow newest content and I almost laughed. Where's the depth.
ESO has depth in many areas. They really make landscape alive with each area feeling like people actually been there or live there. Also you can grow attached to even NPCs without plot. ( Sleeps on bridges, lost murcrab, roaming frog) .
There's also growing list of activities to enjoy. Fishing, treasure hunting, questing, fashion, housing, crafting, battlegrounds, imperial city, cydrolli, active trading and of course my favorite fluid combat.
Eso isn't just a good game but great one.

I was talking with a friend at work last night about the game, and to sum up the conversation, he doesn't think ESO is a good game. I found it preposterous, since his reasoning was "There's no central player store." It reminded me of how people nitpick at the little things that aren't in the game, or should be removed, or at least changed, and then go on to make that the one reason the game is "bad". And although I have no way to stop joke votes, I still ask that you be completely honest. Do you think that ESO is a good, or bad game?
its neither its a exercise in mediocrity , its a game that ticks a lot of boxes but does non of them welll
Care to explain? That's very much a tiny minority view given that even the game's critics think that it does a lot of things extremely well, they just think it does some other things extremely badly. They wouldn't still be here if they thought there was nothing that was done well - so why, out of interest, are you still here if you think the whole thing is mediocre? It's not like there isn't any competition in the market.
i refuse to purchase anything after morrowind . Here , is a list .
1. and this is major no game has left their alternate advancement a flat system tyhat leads to no where. 5 years post launch i would expect the CP system to have evolved and have role and class definition with active abilities unlocked. games with far less of aa budget have been able to expand alternate advancment class and race selections by 3 x the amount ZOS has with a massive budget.
2) . content is essentialy the same since the released wrothgar its copy and paste leveing content with no levels or emegrging game play. matter o fact game play has gone backwards in all area's performance emergence and complexcity.
3). they charge extremely high dollar compared to what other MMO's give for a expansion, im not talking about the quarterly DLC im talking about chapters.

Sadly the overworld is not designed for multiple people and yu get way too strong for the overworld way too fast.
And even if you try to limit yourself, at some point when you try to get immeresed into a dungeon some CP 500+ will just sprintgt past you, having each boss drop dead in a second.
The game would be awesome if it was solo unless you are in a group activity, sadly the always multiplayer kinda ruins every sense of immersion in the overworld.
On reddit there's a post saying they are working on that issue of "overland being to easy"

You can believe this game is both.
GoodGreat: TES universe, graphics, combat, art style, crafting, topography, character customization, pvp, & pve.
Bad: management, stability, lfg system, server, engine, bugs, & quantity>quality.
The bad overshadows the good. Exception for those players that just play house, dress-up, rp, & crown store.

Hmm, the CP did evolve, CP wasn’t there 5 years ago, and you had veteran points beforehand which people absolutely hated. CP was what your original build turn into, also if you look at their Time table they’ve organised revamping CP later this year. In Q4 lol.
Second problem. That’s just mmorpg industry, they All suffer this. Although I’d like to see a expansion increase the level cap to maybe throw the old sets away, have a chance at creating some end game only zones at some point to really flip the meta out.
Now pricing, I wouldn’t say it’s entirely bad, I’d agree they are abit more small scale. But they also cheaper then the costs of other expansions. But again these expansions have been a designed to not punish players who don’t purchase it. So I guess it will have some flaws.
