Necromancer is TRASH

Seriously.
The class is clunky, no resource management, pet focused, slow, no decent spammable, weak ultimate.

Can we PLEASE get a class that isn’t focused on summons? Instead focused on combat?

Colossus:
Does low damage, high Ult cost. Turret does 2x or 3x the damage at HALF the cost
Skull: slow, clunky, low damage.
Blastbones: long to summon, low damage, buggy, slow to move. Has to be targeting an enemy can’t just be summoned.
Boneyard: Decent skill.
Archer: low damage. Yet ANOTHER PET
Siphon: low damage, small aoe, doesn’t SIPHON anything

Goliath. Good ultimate
Scythe: okay decent spam
Bone armor: good
Harvest: good
Totem: good
Grasp: good

Reanimate: YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS 350 cost BS?!??
Render flesh: hurt myself to heal? What am I, Pichu?
Expunge: um what
Life amid death: good
Spirt mender: someone tell how TF this thing heals you.......it’s horrible
Tether: meh decent

Zos....follow my next post for the next class you need to make. Enough of this pet garbage. Enough of this clunky skills. Enough of this casting garbage. Let’s see real combat.

how long have you actually played necro? The fact that you think skull is the weak spam and that scythe is somehow a good spam says it all for me.

I think you need to learn to play the class lol. Its NO WHERE near as bad as you claim.

even without this, Scythe is garbage as a spammable, it is 20% weaker single target the skull and the heal is only 15% of your health. the skill is a tank percentage based heal, very frustrating to see people using the skill as a single target "spammable".

Then explain to me HOW.
I’m max champ, running VO, Hundings, velidreth, shadow mundys Khajit. My stamina depletes so quickly. How in the Nirn to you keep Stamina? (This is solo. My trial build is Relequen, Leviathan and velidreth)

I despise the class. I shelved my stamina Necro at level 33.

I don't think it's trash... and I don't give a crap how it ranks as dps. I just hate it for some of the reasons OP mentioned. I despise it enough that I'm close to deleting just to get that free character slot back for something else, or maybe nothing at all.

Deleting would be better than seeing that mid-level Necro on my roster and wasting another couple hours gnashing my teeth trying to play this clunky, weird, infuriating, resource starved crap sandwich that, for me, seems to be a hodge-podge of reskinned, weaker skills swiped from Templar, Sorc, and DK.

I don't care to read an instruction book or watch an educational video to 'learn to play the class'. I regret the time I've spent so far, including maxing the Psijiic line for some damn reason. I wish I could get the Crowns I spent (mount training and a skyshard pack) back.

I realize I was sucked in by alleged '100k dummy parses' and the complaints about Goliath in PvP, which made me think the class had potential for me.

Did I mention I despise Necromancer?

I'm glad to be a minority on this, as it seems many are having a great time with Necromancer. I wouldn't wish my experience with it on anyone... hell, it might make them delete the entire game.

You do understand that its not about the damage that it deals, but about the massive debuff it applies to ALL targets caught by it? You are making everything in its circle take 30% increased damage from ALL sources and everyone hitting it not just you. Unlike other Ultimates this is one where you can time it in conjunction to maximum penetration then cycle between necromancers in a group. A party of 4 necros can keep an uptime of over 20 seconds of applied 30% damage increase to the target. A well coordinated group can make short work of an otherwise HP Sponge bosses.

And it's going to stay trash for years to come, they already failed to deliver on their promise and haven't fixed neiter Blastbones's damage nor its *** targeting, 2 weeks after the official release absolutely nothing has been done to adress millions of issues that necromancer has. I'm honestly baffled how apathetic devs are towards such glaringly broken class that was supposed to be the damn SELLING POINT of the new chapter.

I am looking forward to trying out Necro. Just been busy farming on my first character at the moment and do not want to start over just yet. From what I've read on these forums and others Necro seems pretty cool, yes it has some issues which I am sure will be fixed at some point but over all it seems like a fun class to play.

My magnecro does not feel that much different than my magsorc in playstile, even stronger with scythe etc. Probably people who are complaining are used to the current stamina meta.
