Is the "NECROMANCER CLASS" good enaugh to satisfy the community? (It needs some reworks IMO)

What the people think about the class? The community got excited for this class when it first announced. But my opinions, the class missing lots of skills fitting for real necromancer nature.

What I dont like:

--> Throwing skull similar with warden's cliff racer no doubt.

--> Blastbone also similar with subterranian assault of warden. (Also has bug too i'll share a video)

--> Skeletal summon completely trash has no dmg at all only benefit is providing recovery from passive.

--> Siphon from deads are almost impossible to use against players and blocking objects cutting the bond between you and corpse. Only good in PvE.

--> Tether (mortal coil) only scaling with max magicka / spell dmg so useless for stamina character.

--> Summoning attronach ulti is powerfull but i've seen this people can roll dodge it inside of the blast area.

--> Scythe is useable but accuracy is not good.

--> Summoning totem completely useless skill I dont know why it is even exist. and its only fears enemy after 2 sec. But noone would stay in it.

--> Grasp has no damage but also hard to root enemy cuz it going through direct line slowly.

--> Render flesh could have stamina morph.

--> Class doesnt have any skill that providing major sorcery/brutality and prophecy/savagery. This is pushing players slot the entropy and rally for "ALMOST" every build.

--> Bitter harvest same with repentance.


What I liked

--> Passives are really good.

--> Reanimation and Goliath ulties are good.

--> Can be use as any role in PvE

Sorry but I can not count anything else.


My suggestions for skill reworks/fixes:

--> Class doesnt have any execution skill but can be tolerated with increasing crit rate for players under %25 HP.

--> Blastbone must be fixed. (Sometimes it doesnt attack to enemy just standing there or moving around randomly)

--> Rework the totem skill, it can provide one of major buff that I mentioned above.

--> Rework the grasp, for example there are some npcs named "bonelord" they have a quite good skill animation. They are summoning a giant skull hand from ground and its immobilizing the enemy. It can be instant cast under the enemy and dodgeable.

--> Siphon can be like the "Malubeth Monster Set" bind directly to enemy deal damage over time for short duration and if the bond remains until duration ends stun the enemy.

--> Mortal coil morph should be scale off max stats instead of only magicka/spell dmg

--> Rework the skeletal summon. Sorcerer pets are dealing quite good damage. Or maybe you can add a feature that provide some major/minor buff when they are summoned.

    It isn't a Necromancer in the way that I think a Necromancer, but I am enjoying it. Hopefully they will rework the Magicka side to be viable.

    It isn't a perfect class by any means, but it is nowhere near as unserviceable as people make it out to be. Aside from Buggybones being buggy and the skeleton Mage/Archer being a tad weak, the class is actually fairly decent.

    I do agree that Major Sorcery/Brutality being missing is a pain, as they are essentially mandatory buffs.

    Reanimate could do with some slight adjustments. As it stands, it is just far too situational.

    Overall, I am rather happy with the class. It isn't QUITE what I was expecting from a Necromancer class, but I'm loving the "Dark Sorcery" feeling it has, so it was also quite a pleasant surprise in that regard.
    Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.

    The skeletal summons are underwhelming and the overall feel does seem a bit lacking, I will admit. The Tombstone AOE, I just can't and also the Flesh Attro Ulti animation is awkwardly positioned off to the side and does AOE damage in front of it but I can never tell if I've hit the target without an indicator.

    When it's something that has been asked for, for this long, people are never going to be pleased. Personally, I think it's a fun class that's visually engaging to play, as opposed to Warden which is all-around just very boring and poorly thought-out in my opinion. What bothers me though is that the Necromancer is still very buggy, and there are very specific instances (which seem to vary from player to player for some reason) where skills fail to work. I have an issue at the moment where half my skills don't actually work when I try to dps the new buff dummy, but they work on everything else. It seems that in PvP as well, a lot of skills are super inconsistent with stuff like when they drop a "corpse" or not.

    I actually like the necromancer class. Even though it has a some issues, I have been having a blast with all the new theory crafting I got to do with the class and the results were beyond my expectations in live. It preformed well for me in vMA, 1 v X open world PvP, and Vet content in PvE.

    It is a class that makes you think outside of the box. Plus, it is something new so I am happy. :)

    If they made corpse mechanics easier to use- aka you can use one within your reach without having to find and aim for one... and fix a few glitches it would be much MUCH better.

    Yeah there are some other pain points but mostly fun.

    I'm sensing a lot of PvP bias from you. I doubt I have to remind you that PvE also exists in this game, no?
    While the Necromancer does have some problems (Blasbones bug, corpses left behind from abilities don't last long enough to be useful and the lack of buffs), it is a decent class. Stam Necro is really good in PvE, though it does suffer from lack of sustain more than other Stam builds. A few buffs/changes and it will be in a good position, but you have to remember that PvP isn't everything in this game, and abilities that you might see as "useless" in PvP are useful in PvE.

    What makes people mention major sorcery and brutality but never major savagery or prophecy? I mean they are both required buffs in the game, as much as the major buffs to weapon/spell damage.

    I am fine with not having the buffs in class, really the only build that is lacking them is a bow/bow build. But if you really want them, there are plenty of other ways, sets/pots/play with a DK.

    I enjoy the class the only issue is reanimate is too situational. Also only using it on allies is boring. While not add function for eniemy corpses? At 350 cost it needs something more.

    Main critics so far for me:

    The animation time for a lot of the skills is slow so it makes the whole class kind of clunky

    The the breach and fracture debuff from avid graveyard should remain even enemies leave it imo. In its current state it’s way too weak anyone can just walk out of it

    Overall the Magicka side of the class needs some buffs and debuffs imo. Lots and lots of potential there but it just falls really short atm

    if you read all of the post you will see. I said "it can be use any role in PvE" under "What I liked" thread. This means class is quite good for pve. Also all those suggestions was for the useless skills. Non of them actually main skills of PvE.

    Yes I play mostly PvP but, I've never said anything wrong about PvE skills.

    Interesting. We have threads claiming Necro is an “I win” button that needs nerfs and threads claiming that too much is wrong with it to play. Interesting.

    After a few weeks smashing bash on ppl in Cyrodil...yea needs some work. Ultimates seem OP, but the rest of the class skills are too clunky...

    I play on both. Stamina one is lack of sustain. In combat your stamina going down so fast than other classes. Magicka one is better at survive.

    Pretty much this, however I noticed a quick roll dodge on my bow bar and LoS solves that problem for me. If I get jumped and bash spammed it's pretty much death.

    Stam Necro is great for PvP. To get around the weird pathing of the Blastbones I play a waiting game and check out my opponents reactions to my bow abilities first, find a opening, get the stun, hit blastbones, crit rush in and execute. The goal of getting Blastbones out, I feel most people are missing out on, is we need to shield it from CC and Damage while it assembles. Once it's fully assembled we need to get into the opponents face and pressure pressure pressure. They cant reliably hit blastbones if they're dealing with us first.

    HA StamNecro is incredibly tanky and feels great to use in 1VX.

    I'm having a hard time getting into stamcro in pvp. The skills are clunky, and Blastbones only works some of the time. It's frustrating to watch that bugger stop and stare at my target before collapsing into useless parts.

    I haven't tried magicka yet, but everyone is telling me that it's not that great as dps.

    EDIT: One thing I do like about necro is the on-demand (and cheap) purge.

    Ults are OP borderline broken.
