Can we get rid of the penalty for leaving dungeons when you que up for a daily and everyone leaves for a different dungeon? If they refuse to kick you because half our player base is children who want to troll from their parents basements then you get stuck having to wait 15 minutes to reque

    I thought they "fixed" the bug where you could change dungeons and still get random daily XP reward, or that's what I've read here some time ago anyways but maybe not

    as for the penalty timer... I have mixed feelings about this so I shall keep my mouth shut :)

    The bug where you could do a random and port to a daily and get credit for both has most definitely been fixed as of elswyer.
    There is literally no point in doing this any longer...

    It's already patched - are you having some kind of flashback?

    Probably they just decided 'lol *** this' and left.

    The 'Port to FG1' exploit has been fixed, you need to do the random dungeon you get. There's no point in porting somewhere else.

    Although if I were greeted by, say, March of Sacrifices with a bunch of people who had never done it before, I might take the 15 minute penalty rather than spend 2 - 4 times as long learning by wiping.

    I can totally understand players who haven't done any DLC content, but have the temerity to subscribe, who bunk out of DLC dungeons when ported to them for their daily random.

    But it's a bit rude to give the players left behind a deserter penalty as a result.

    How many times have people already confused this timer I wonder. That timer isn't a penalty pushed upon you for leaving a group wihtou finishing the dungeon. You won't be left without it after being kicked. It's simply a way to stop people from spamming the queue until they get the dungeon they want to do. The next time you queue immediatly check the dungeon finder when it puts you in the dungeon. The timer is set once your group is found and dungeon asigned.

    You can still port to another dungeon after queueing for a random, but they fixed it so you don't get the random xp bonus anymore. There are still some applications. For instance, today the pledges are Darkshade 2, Tempest Island and Ruins of Mazzatun. A group might queue random vet and hope one of those 3 pop. If it doesn't, they port over to Darkshade 2 and run the pledge. There was a chance of getting the random xp bonus in addition to the pledge. After that is done, they queue random again and hope for Tempest or Ruins of Mazzatun, porting after if needed.

    Yes, it's still a horrible thing to do to a pug and is far less likely to happen as much as the old system, but I can see some players still doing this for the reasons above. And no, it's not an exploit, just a **** move.
