✭I pug vet dlc on a tank a lotmistake, I should have picked the "sometimes" option on the tank but ok, did it a lot with tank too when farming jewerly, though it can be much more stressing than with the healer (your other poll), with the healer we can contribute to damage and keep the fight going even if it gets long and go on, with tank eh, you hope for good.Edited by RANKK7 on June 13, 2019 11:21AMlll

So, yes, I don't often do that. But I did vFV speed run like that, with pugs. It's fun, hard, not a lot of room for mistake, but it's fun and refreshing.
Doing that made me want to fully respec as a tank. But I will not. And I felt the pain of people complaining about pugs xD When the group dps is under what you do by yourself when you're playing full DD, and you wipe again and again on the easiest boss of the dungeon.PC - EU - France - AD

Now I stoped doing pretty much all end-game pve. Nerfs totally broken my eagerness to do it. 1st racial rebalance and now NB nerf... And I used to do it, but after nerfs I started to strugle. It is beyond my ability to adapt. And changing race or making new character is not an option.
My main is more or less dead

Nb is currently very strong as a tank, i have olorime symphony frost/resto build and i survive swipes in vet hel ra healerless (40+ points in mag), i recommend you trying nb tank again, really fun rn. A bit planning a head cause no burst heal, but currently i think the most selfish awesome tank available.1 -

I'm asking because I want to roll nord for pvp but still want to do pve sometimes and thought maybe I could just be tank. No. You can't carry as tank. Buffing 10k DPS by 50% (and this is an absolutely insane number) yields you... 15k DPS.0 -

All three times I got two potato DPS which were so bad they were probably holding their staffs backwards. Screw that. Only guildies and other trusted friends now. Yeah I saw that, true DLC dungeons are harder but I treat all vet dungeons the same, sure the base game ones are easier, does not rule out getting crap groups if you PUG them making them just as hard as any DLC dungeon in some cases.0 -

✭I tried to pug it on a tank but didn't continueIf I pug DLC dungeons, it's usually as a DD. But if I really don't have time to wait in a queue, and none of my friends and guildies want to jump in, I usually pick my magplar that can still do 10-15k DPS in what's almost a full tank setup.
I very rarely (practically never) do dungeons in complete PUGs on my DK full tank though. The base game dungeons are so boring I tend to fall asleep even in good groups when I'm there as a tank. And in DLC dungeons the run tends to end up taking multiple hours because some people are incapable of following mechanics or the DPS is insufficient to meet DPS checks that I didn't even know existed until I got there with a PUG on a tank.
With that said, I still prefer to go with a tank rather than a healer, because as a tank I can force DDs to damage those damn plants in vBF by pulling the other adds/trash to them, but as a healer I can only "support" them with whatever stupid *** they decided to do at the time, and depending on level of stupidity still be unable to save them.1
