So the tooltip for this skill says “...dealing 25920 shock damage over 12s.”
If my math is right...that’s 2190 damage every second. So why is my siphon only hitting for 759?

Is anyone else having issues with this ability?

I've wondering if it's doing what it says sometimes...

But I have no evidence to support yea or nay.

That ability deals damage every 0.5 seconds, so with your numbers it should be hitting for 1095. That is of course assuming there is no damage mitigation. So the lower number could be accounted for by unpenetrated armor?

That is actually accurate, Divide 25920 by 12 and it is actually 2160 per 1 second (you were off by 30 points @gamerguy757 ) however as @veloSylraptor pointed out, each Damage proc occurs every 0.5 seconds (I can back this up as I noticed it during my play through as a Necromage) and as such, divide the 25920 by 24 and you get 1080 damage every 0.5 seconds over the course of 12 seconds against enemies provide they have no mitigation. Because if you count the mitigation of Overland/trial & group dungeon mobs, you will know that you deal less damage because of it.
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.
