As much as I love them, it would ruin their mystique to have them everywhere. Plus the ones you speak to often explain that they don't travel because they hate being mistaken for house-cats and petted, and that they are not taken seriously. It was a happy surprise whenever I found one in Elsweyr and it would kind of spoil it if they were as common as, well, house-cats.

As long as I get more Sereyne the drunk mage kitty and Skooma cat I don't care where they put them

In other words let us occasionally, in the normal line of things, without it even mentioned as being unusual, find an Alfiq here and there - perhaps as a quest NPC.

In the crown store for the common Housecat it says, “this green eyed feline is a distant relative of the Alfiq Khajiit”

I interpreted it as that Alfiq and Housecat look the same. Alfiq Raht are larger and speak, hence the “Raht”

I think the Uesp put the picture under the wrong title. In my opinion. Also I’ll try to update with the cats having a meeting in Auridon. There is also a senche that responds to conversation in Grahtwood.

I mean I'd love more cats and alfiqs everywhere, but this is just a waste of time, there are more important things to do and I have Ezabi to hug so...
