Migrating from Console to PC

I have been playing ESO on PlayStation 4 for a few months now and I had a great time leveling up a toon to cp 200 so far. Since the new chapter's release seems to have wrecked the experience on console, I reluctantly started a new account branch on PC. My question is regarding leveling a character on the PC character set. I do not have the patience to level up in the manner of my first experience with the game. Is there anything wrong with just blasting through to CP 160 with just like some level 15 training gear and experience scrolls to the max for character number 1 on a new account branch? Right now it seems to me that the whole game sort of starts with the ability to have gear maxed. Any insight would be appreciated.

Now that you're on PC...

1. Addons: I suggest Sky Shards, Harvest Map, and Lore Books to help you find stuff quicker and level up faster. Srendarr buff counter is also nice as is Azurah for UI changes and its wonderful bag counter.
2. You can still use a gamepad/controller, furthermore you can really customize it more than you could on console. Personally I kept all the menu stuff on the keyboard so that the gamepad opens up more space to do other things.

If you want to use the default controller settings its fine, but I like to change it up a bit. My changes are the following:
Left Shoulder - Sprint
Right Shoulder - Jump
Left + Right Shoulder - Roll Dodge
Direction Left - Ability 4
Direction Right - Ability 5
Direction Down - Ultimate
Direction Up - Cycle Quests
Direction Up Hold down - Interact with Players
Back/Share Button - Quickslot
Left Joystick Click - Mount
Left Joystick Hold down - Crouch
Right Joystick Click - Weapon Swap
Right Joystick Hold down - Sheathe/Unsheathe

Other functions either stay the same or are on the keyboard like opening the map and menus.

Thanks @phaneub17_ESO for those pointers as I am beginning to feel overwhelmed by the potential of customization options introduced by the PC version.

If you are planning to go into the pc eu server, don't bother; it's a total mess right now.

is there any speculation as to why the EU servers are suffering all of a sudden? it seems like the markets over there exhibit less...capatlism...

'All of a sudden'?

It's an ongoing issue. Steam most of all, followed closely by EU in general.

As for your original question, there is nothing wrong with leveling up quickly.

Join a friendly guild, and people may even craft you training gear for free (we generally do that in our guild since low lvl mats are fairly cheap and it helps others who don't have traits researched yet). If you grab your daily login rewards, you'll be getting several xp scrolls this month which should help you as I imagine you don't have the money for Ambrosias on your new account yet. If you have the stomach for grinding, join a dolmen group in Alikr for example as there are plenty of people farming xp with the new class.

And yes there's never a reason to not get to cp160, because even if a player wants to experience the story zones, doing them as cp160 will make it easier due to the abilities stats and gear, as well as make it more meaninful since you can get actually usable cp160 gear pieces to drop (instead of a level 10 purple Crafty Alfiq Interno staff or whatever
