get rid of rez ult in pvp, get rid of camp, bring back consequences.

I say rez ult in pvp because I do like the idea in pve and don't want it gone because of pvp. it adds something unique to necro and can save pugs.

HOWEVER

death in pvp needs consequences. forward camps started making death pointless, and necro ult threw it in the dumpster.

you just cannot kill people anymore, or at least, they don't stay dead. its literally like fighting an army of undead, its a battle of bodies and attrition and how many forward camps a group is will to go through or necro rez's until one group just leaves from apathy

its now pointless to fight other players. there is no reason to pvp in pvp. the either rez at a camp, or now have a friend insta rez them.

I have played PvP through a lot of meta's, and through a lot of bad times, from the inception of this game till now. through perma bat DK's, rolly polly stamina, 20 second shields, the og bash-o-matic (and the current) through all the ups and downs of the various classes and styles.

and this is the worst

I don't want to pvp, there is no point.

you don't "beat" people anymore, you don't "win". you tire them out, you make them apathetic, you make them not want to keep fighting because nothing is coming from it, you make them just leave.

so I am.

game got too disappointing.

At least they won't have to buff PVP whining, AGAIN.

There NEVER WAS meaningful PVP in this game.

You got the kill, yay, point for you, that's it.

Fighting over empty buildings with nothing to them is lame. It is stupid and it never should have existed.

What were you even fighting for before?

I have seen our classes and races decimated over pvp boo hooing and frankly tbh the sooner they delete Cyrodiil and redo it entirely, the better.

pretty much the same thing as now, but death had consequences, they had to die and in defeat rez across the map and enjoy a horse simulator and contemplate their loss, rage in their defeat, or ponder what they could have done differently.

when death means 5-10 mintues of not being able to pvp tactics and gameplay change, people don't troll out alone into zergs or sit a resource across the map waiting for people. it many not be the literal fear of death but it is a punishment of a type that causes you to play differently.

when death does not matter, nobody cares.

The thing about Cyrodiil is that...the map is huuuuuuge. There’s so many random 1 shot gank builds and laggy Zergs that materialise from thin air that easily contribute to a lot of spontaneous deaths. Having to spend 5-10 minutes riding back to the frontlines every time these deaths occur becomes the opposite of fun very quickly.

Having multiple ways to Rez players and return to the battle on such a large scale map is in my opinion, necessary.

This approach only works on a game where death is actually a meaningful event. Considering how quickly and effortlessly you die on this game - especially in Cyrodil - making it more substantial would make PvP on this game even more intolerable if you ask me.

Everything was overall fine, then someone decided to give an OP Hammer to the Emp Faction...

Not a good idea. Yes, it's something Sheograth would do, but we do want Cyro to continue and even grow. I hope.

I do agree with some commentary that the buildings are empty...Cyro needs more substance in those keeps and outposts.

My first suggestion is enabling loot for the conquering faction who takes the outpost or keep. AP is great, but what if ZOS starts putting random epic and even legendary dungeon weapons into keeps. Now you got my full attention. Maybe have a random legendary home furnishing drop every friday, coinciding with the gold merchant.

For now however, ZOS needs to stop the hammer from being puy into the Emp faction's hands. Just today, we had the Emp faction toss it in the water, commenting it was a bunch of bs.

In the future, Cyro needs to expand in size. Make it more realistic, make it epic. Repeating the same keep takes is getting nauseating. Expand North, East, South, and West.

Idea for the expansion of Cyro:

Create actual towns where the civilians and npc guards of the reigning faction, have as much power as the typical resource guards do. They would operate in the same way as the more time being spent under one faction...the stronger the town.

Would make it difficult to take the town yourself, and you'd need help.

Expand in size? There is already a huge amount of real estate that is underused in Cyro. I'm not sure making more will make it better. I'd argue if they remove camps (no objections) they could probably make it smaller. It would result in better performance.

For instance if they were to create an Imperial themed DLC and decided to commandeer the outer rim of Cryodil (that nobody goes to, and is underused) as a PvE zone with the story about putting an end to the war, or about helping civilians escape the war. The result would be pushing the PvP zone home base further toward the center, less under used zone space, less travel time, no forward camps, better performance.

If you measure PvP by how much unused real estate you have, then you probably won't like that idea.

Sounds like you might not have been here that long if you don’t remember the days when camps had no limit and it was really zerg vs zerg.
