RoyalPink06✭✭✭✭✭I believe "it's" is a contraction for "it is" or "it has" and that is the only acceptable use of "it's" with the apostrophe. If you try and expand it in the example above, "it is" does not make sense.
"Its" without the apostrophe is the possessive form.
