in pvp cannot interact with Environment or anything while in crouch / sneak since patch 6/10/19

this only happens when i am in Cryodiil, and pvp areas.
while in crouch / sneak everything is simply inaccessible now since patch 6/10/19
cannot open doors
cannot pick up plants / vegetation
cannot pick up Heavy Sacks
it was not like this before the patch, this is only now happening since the latest patch today.

    I have opposite problem in that I cant sneak/sprint. Keys wont work nor will the necro pets spawn every time, the archer one.

    I have an issue very similar. Not exact, but stealth is broken, I enter a state of perma-block, where the shield icon is up a long time after releasing block (stamina regens, so I know i'm not actually blocking)
    The stealth icon, in the middle of anywhere or nowhere, goes to full detection instantly and permanently.
    I can't sneak or sprint properly, I can't mount properly, I can't play properly and this is aggravating beyond belief.
    Changing characters alleviates the problem [very] temporarily.
    This only happened as of maintenance on June 10. It is still happening 24 hours later. I have repaired the game files to try and fix. No dice.

    This is a bug created by ZOS' patch on Monday. And as usual nothing has been done about it nor have they even commented in any thread addressing it. (Another thread on Alliance War PvP forum) Never have a seen a company that continually turns a blind eye to the numerous performance issues and bugs like Zenimax. Only one word can sum it all up. PATHETIC.

    Cyrodiil has been a performance issue and bug ridden disaster for years and nothing has been done to fix anything. Now add the stealth bug created Monday to the mix. Trust me there is a slim chance that will be fixed.

    Anyone subscribing to their game should think again especially if you are a PvP player.

    Game is nigh unplayable at this point.

    The no interaction with the environment is a pain tbh and as for the lag in pvp, I've never known it this bad in 5 years :-(

    Just to make sure, you're not talking about stealing items? And you're not using Dolgubon's Lazy Writ Crafter addon?
    Because that addon got updated with an option to prevent people from accidently stealing items (when handing in writs).

    cant interact with the environment at all while stealthed in pvp areas, this has never been the case and was not in the patch notes.
    was it intended zenimax?

    horrible.
    they are listening to the people wanting stealth removed and they will be removing stealth and invisibility, this is just phase 1.
    more to come untill stealth is gone completely.
    i will then be leaving eso.
    only reason i am here is for stealth gameplay that has a bit of elderscrolls feel to it.
    but since those things are leaving, i will leave along with them.

    I can’t sneak through doors in PVP either since last patch. Any update on this? Is this intended?

    I’ve notice the same issue. Can’t sneak into keep doors anymore. Not to mention sometimes you have to hit the prompt to enter multiple times before you actually enter. I’m on Xbox NA. The dc issues have worsened since the cyrodiil change. A lot of the big players won’t enter cyrodiil right now because of it being so bad.

    I have this same issue, can't pick up lorebooks, open doors etc. while stealthed in Cyro.

    Manually un-sneak, do your thing, then re-sneak. It's not like you actually stealthily gather, right? When you interact with the node in PvE, you come out of crouch automatically then automatically re-crouch when you are done.

    I don't know why the automation was removed because in PvE it does these things automatically. In Cyrodiil you have to manually do these steps, which might in total cost you... 1 second?

    Before, you could interact with doors without becoming visible. This allowed you to enter keeps besieged by the enemy without being seen. That has a significant impact on gameplay.

    Note that i am not speaking for or against this change, just commenting.

    This doesn’t address the door issue, though, which makes getting into keeps significantly harder during a siege. Unstealthing even for a second is likely to draw unwanted attention. (I don’t mean a door guarded by gankers with detection pots/skills who’ll know you’re there anyway, but near those on the walls or in the courtyard who wouldn’t have seen you in stealth but now have multiple opportunities to hit you.) Previously using a door did not pop you out of stealth, unlike activating a resource node/chest. Now we can’t even use invisibility pots to get through a door undetected: if we use them from crouch, we lose the invis effect standing up to use the door; if we unstealth first, we’ve exposed ourselves in order to use the potion. The latter involves not only the risk of alerting others to your presence but also the consumption of a potion you didn’t previously need. That in turn means you’ll likely be on cooldown going into combat.

    It was already risky trying to get into keeps during combat in stealth. I just can’t see why the devs would have made this change at the expense of making it riskier even with the use of pots. What problem was addressed by removing activators in Cyro while in stealth? And was addressing that problem in this way worth the additional risk and inconvenience during sieges?

    If this was done intentionally, it should certainly have been noted. If it was not, it should be fixed. At this point we don’t even have enough information to know if it’s a bug or not, so at least a comment from the devs either way would be appreciated.
