Do you think they should not wait for U24 with performance issue update and do it with Scalebreaker?

What are your thoughts?
I do think they are going to need to do something with this. Eu Server is really having problems going by what is said on the forums, and Na is starting to see effects of that too. Something needs to be done about it. If it was the lighting improvements they did years back a downgrade could really help, reductions on the anti bot code they put in would also help. Since the delete limit really hinders botters. If they must. Turning most % values including all champion point % values to flat. If they must to help with the performance. Given what happened tonight and might still be happening. I feel a performance update cannot wait. Whatever they can do with the next major update would be a big help and they can even work on it and improve performance even more with e4.

Are they seriously waiting to the end of the year to address performance issues? It's getting ridiculous.

Performance issues should NEVER be adressed at the same time as a content update. They should be treated separately.

Every now on then, on this forum, we see things like "hey ZOS, please stop making new content until issues are fixed", to which a lot of people answer "meh, that's not the same thing, and not the same people working on it, they can do both". Well it's about time they prove it.

Also, the more parameters you change at once, the more likely something happens that is unexpected and, and the lower the chance you can track it properly. Fixing sh*t at the same time as introducing new sh*t is a very, very bad idea.

    Don't rush them!
ATM they have a rising problem of gamers influx and performance degradation on US megaservers.
First they will fix home playground to please millions and millions of US players then if some money is left and we behave while we wait for fixes they will look EU megaservers.

They're aware of the situation, the thing is will the influx of new players last? Many came from WoW, and its no secret that the WoW dev team is putting a lot of bang into their next patch. While the Zos team is working on fixing the performance, I think it may be best if they wait to see if their flood of new players end up going back to WoW on their own when 8.2 releases. No point upgrading the servers for the capacity it is at now if they won't be around when the fix does come out.

1 - I fail to see how a rising influx of potential income is a problem
2 - There are millions of EU players too, and performance improvement for us is long overdue.

Now I get that your post was irony, but still, I'm grumpy.

That kind of attitude eliminated many good games and good studios. I don't want this to happen to ESO, sorry.

I have to agree. The game is amazing, and many new players or those that come from other games will see this right away...if they can play. Besides, assuming that these players will leave and using that as justification to delay long-overdue fixes that the existing community has had to tolerate is just irresponsible.

Well I really dont want to sound this like a "Do it or i will leave post" ...

But to be honest I used to play PVP alot on PrimeTime around 2-3 hours daily but the lag man...its just awful.

Its just getting worse and worse.

Nowadays I just look whats going on at the forums and trying to log in every 2 to 3 days to claim daily rewards or sell some stuff at the guild store.

And when they say...well we will adress the issues next year its jsut a slap in the face.

The game i loved just getting into a game I really start to hate.

How can any Dev or Company be proud of this situation/performance , where people who really invested time and money into this game are starting to quit, cause its getting unplayable day after day??

But I guess its just irrelevant for Zo$ when players get frustraded about the whole Performance issue.

On PS4 there really is a need for a hot fix for the game... especially enemies, shards, or any kind of target not appearing immediately during combat. This was not happening before Elsweyr patch.
