    OP's signature states that he if from PC EU, this seems like more then enough explanation. I don't see big f*ing banner at login screen that there are temporary problems with database and friends/guilds are not lost and will return in few hours. And so full zone chat of frightened people, any zone, any time, ton of people ask where are their friends and guilds. Zero official communication from ZOS.
    In all previous MMO I played such major f**k up will be immediately addressed in "news" or in login screen, in-game message etc... Official denial of long lingering problems and even such disaster like today's evening is really disgusting.
