Tried to use the new Zone Guide-- bug with Alik'r Desert and King Fahara'jad?

I haven't played in a long time, and logging back in I decided to try the new zone tracker to see if there's any zones I haven't completed. Clicking the top-most location on the map, Alik'r Desert, and it tells me I'm missing a zone story quest "In Search Of The Ash'abah" and tells me to talk to King Fahara'jad.

The King's not standing at the map marker. When I went into the dungeon where he is standing, he has no quests for me. Doing some research, all this quest is is pointing me to another quest hub (Morwha's Bounty) which is all completed. So there's apparently no way I can possibly "complete" this zone by the standards of the Zone Guide. It looks like I did thing in the "wrong order" (years and years ago when I first did this area) and as a result am stuck now?

The *really* annoying part is there also doesn't seem to be any way to tell it "hey skip this thing, do the next thing instead". So until this bug is fixed, the Zone Guide is useless in Alik'r Desert for me.

I have this exact same issue. Every thread I can find on it tells you to go somewhere to pick up the quest but every time I go to the locations mentioned the quest is not there. I haven't been able to find the King to talk too and the Zone guide just sends me to a marker with no person to interact with.

Yes, same here. If you go down into the Impervious Vaults (at least for me) you'll see that King Fahara'jad is still hanging out down there at the little "ceremony" area at the end. He needs to reset.

He doesn't give the quest though, so it doesn't fix the issue.

Correct. That's why I followed up with "He needs to reset." It's like he is stuck in the dialog/actions for when you beat the final quest for the zone (where you had that ceremony at the bottom of the Impervious Vaults). I imagine it wouldn't be too hard of a change to make in terms of development (an assumption from being a developer), but until this gets brought to the attention of ZoS it will never happen.

I'm OCD when it comes to clearing quests, and this is the last one in Tamriel that I need on my main character. Would love to get it done.

I put in a ticket. Got the initial automated response, sent them a detailed account of the issue including my gamertag, character name, and pictures from the game showing that King Fahara'jad doesn't give the quest and isn't where he should be, and images showing I have already completed Morwha's Bounty.

First customer service rep sent me a link to the quest walkthrough. I responded that it was frustrating that they didn't read my detailed response.

Second rep asked me for my character name. I included a snipped image of my detailed response which showed my character name was already given.

Third rep told me to drop all my quests and powercycle my xbox. Still no change.
