Oh but they did. Right at the very beginning, just a couple minutes in:

"...we know you've all been waiting to hear about... working on Elder Scrolls 6..."

And that was all there was. After telling us last year that they were indeed going to MAKE TES6, then teasing us again today with "we're working on it" THEY SAID NOTHING ELSE.

He literally mentioned TES6 right at the beginning to both keep the audience in the room & keep the folks on Twitch tuned in as well. That's playing VERY dirty, if you ask me.

I can't play Doom or Wolfenstein, due to the engine that runs them. I have this weird condition where certain first person engines break my brain. My eyes say, "Oh hey, we're moving!" and my ears say, "Uh no, you idiots, we are sitting still right here in this chair". The ensuing argument sends me rushing to the toilet to toss my cookies =/ Dramamine helps if I get mild nausea (I can play Destiny2, for example) but I'm not sure it would work for either of those games. Wasn't really interested in a game adaptation of a kiddie cartoon either & I don't stream so Orion is useless to me as well. The Ghost game seemed interesting & my apologies to the creators but RAGE seems like a bad Borderlands knockoff - I'd rather play Borderlands.

As an Elder Scrolls player, I mostly wanted to hear about TES. I was disappointed because I feel as if they just wanted to get it out of the way so they could present their "bigger and better" things, like porting more TES to mobile, putting out more mobile games & then the whole "Battle Royale" thing. I'm sure that the FallOut players felt rather the same way - FO76 got even less screen time than TES!

We already have a good idea that the Necromancer is the big thing they are adding to the game for the year. That is how they did it the previous two years, and the Chapter is set up for that sort of thing, here the quarterly DLC is not.

All that is left for the year is the story, dungeons, and zones. This, we know.

Not really. The Switch isnt a streaming platform in the least bit. Orion is for things like Stadia, XCloud, or mobile gaming.

Nothing about Star-whatever, either, which likely means that TES6 is still more than 2 years out.

It is the worst time of year for ZOS to be talking about the game. ZOS has nothing big in the 2nd half of the year to talk about. Just a couple DLC. It is too soon to talk about the next Chapter, since they just released one.

So, this year they talked about Game 2, which surprised me because what I have been calling "Game 2" is actually "Game 3".

But, no, I'm not disappointed at all. I loved what they showed and announced. They will reveal more at QuakeCon in no time.

I really wouldn't trust anything Matt says.

I liked ESO and Deathloop. But overall I'm not liking the general direction or feeling I'm getting from Bethesda... Paid audience, generic quotes a la "our game is the best thing ever", and pushing mobile games in E3. Starting too feel souless and EAish. I dont have much hope for TES6 or Starfield anymore, would love to be wrong though.

At least Larian is making BG3 yay.

Id be happy if they just didnsomething about the heavy meta thats been raging for years now.

I haven't got any drops.
