‘Dragonhold’ DLC coming Q4

I’m guessing this will be a PvE zone with story content. Is there a place in southern Elsweyr called Dragonhold? Or is it’s location elsewhere? I couldn’t find anything when I googled it

Maybe Hall of Colossus and Torval. Ofc they wouldnt name it pelletine cause the chapter is elsewyr. And my guess: that zone dlc will be free.

It was called Scalebreaker. I bet it will be couple of dungeons with 120k group dps requirement.

They announced two different DLC. Scalebreaker is the dungeon one, Dragonhold is the end of Season of the Dragon.

Dragonhold. Whiterun? I know the plot pointed to Pelletine, but I can’t think of anything which works better in the lore.

    It is in Southern Elsweyr.
Coming late 2019, you can experience the exciting end of the Season of the Dragon adventure with Dragonhold, the final DLC of the year. Dragonhold brings a whole new zone to explore in Southern Elsweyr called Pellitine, a lawless wasteland impacted by a deadly plague almost 20 years ago. There, you must gather allies (including fan-favorite Sai Sahan), reform the ancient Dragonguard order, develop powerful new tools and weapons, and put an end to the Dragon menace before it threatens to engulf all of Tamriel.

Curious how they explain away Sai's return if we chose to axe him in the original main quest.

Also... the mounted fight we see in the trailer... Is that a hint at a new gameplay mechanic?

Also, I hope we get to join the Dragonguard and to unlock a new skill line by doing so.

Enough Also's, I'm going to sleep now. :-)

I wonder how much Dragonhold is going to cost. To be honest im a little bummed out as Northern Eleswyer is so small, defenitly not Chapter size as Summerset was.

If people expect the whole rest of Elsweyr to come with a Q4 DLC, they're going to be disappointed. That would be more area than even the chapter covered. It's going to be the same size as other small DLC like Murkmire.

Also it's quite disappointing tbh, that we only get to see one province this year. It's all from the same asset pool. I like the Elsweyr zone, but I don't feel like visiting again so soon.

That’s been the ZOS cadence the last couple of years though, @Stephanie_ABT:

    1Q: Dungeon DLC
    2Q: Full Zone Chapter
    3Q: Dungeon DLC
    4Q: Small Zone DLC

So, expect a cost similar to Mukmire (3,500 crowns) ... or free with ESO+.

“Free” as in it might be a Daily Reward bonus similar to Murkmire?? I wouldn’t get your hopes up for that.

DLC is free access for ESO+ members ... but otherwise it’s a Crown Store purchase.

so dragonhold is the last dlc and finishes the dragon story i assume?

scalebreaker is the next (dungeon) dlc in august?

Don't we get 3 more dlc this year? Do we already know what the 3rd dlc is going to be?

No, two more ... one per quarter. Scalebreaker DLC and then Dragonhold in the late autumn.

I agree 100% with you. It’s a great zone but I didn’t really want to stay in it for the next 2 dlc. I honestly just can’t wait to see what the next chapter has in store for us

In a trailer we saw (it was rly hard to tell since it was night & it was burning and partially destroyed) a city in a redguard style. Also Sai Sahan is back. I am guessing it will be a "DC zone".

I agree. Instead of getting the rest of Elsweyr, there will most likely be a huge gap in the map and a tiny disconnected zone plastered in at the very south.

The only way I could see them making a larger zone is if they mean the "lawless wasteland" description literally, and it's just a huge area with nothing in it.

The Q4 DLC is taking place in Pellitine (Southern Elsweyr). This is basically confirmed.

At the end of the Elsweyr chapter, you are told that's where you will be going next (it's not even ambiguous). The concept art for the DLC is also Khajiit and pirate themed, which confirms Pellitine.
