We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

Bethesda had a chance and blew it. No cross progression/play/purchases/anything

Yikes. I have never really been a big fan of Sony and it seems that has kept me from heartache. Sorry you're having issues dude. If i were you, i would sell your playstation if all Sony is doing is blowing you off to be lazy customer reps. I'm not going to say playstation is a bad console, but Microsoft has been a really good experience on PC and Xbox for me for many years(not talking in ESO, just overall). The biggest issue i have had with an xbox is red ring and even then i received new product with no delay.
The only sony product i ever bought was a PS3 for Skyrim, Well... the darn thing would do something odd with save files and make the whole game lag and it would also randomly delete my save files. I tried to put up with it for a while, then i just sold the darn thing and swore off sony for good lol.

ps- not hating on sony, just not my cup of tea

I just want the option to rebuy what I already bought, that is not even an option.

The problem is rebuying on PS4. But you just want to rebuy?

He bought it on PS4, then was randomly denied his product due to technical issues through sony live service and wants the ability buy it again, with there being a chance of losing it....again. :/

The chance to buy again on a different platform, SONY is just going to keep being thugs towards me. The crown purchases, the rewards.

This is already an available solution.

How can you rebuy previous crown purchases on a different platform? you a telling me , that when I buy the PC version of the game, the mind shriven skin will be there, in the crown store menu for me to buy when I log in?

    :: sigh ::

For 80% of Cross platform blocks, Sony is to blame:
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.eurogamer.net/amp/2018-06-19-ex-sony-dev-says-ps4-console-cross-platform-block-is-all-about-the-money

For the loss of digital purchases, and inability to recover the records from your service history, your platform owner, ie Sony, is to blame.

However angry you are, ZOS can't do anything about it, only you can.

    Your options are:

    Leave sony
    Legal action against sony.

You might find that if they could transfer you to another server, that all your character names are already in use on the server you're moving to, so you would have to change the names of your characters before you would be allowed to log in.

As somebody that is not a console peasant, nor have I played on any EU server, solely played on PC NA server, it would be good, if in the future there was a master sever introduced that syncs all the data.

It would require players to sync their accounts to it, and they have to choose what gets wiped / kept.

For instance, if you own ESO on PS4 and PC, you have 10 characters on each account but the max is 18, you will have to delete 2. You may even need to rename your characters if a name is already taken. If you own two version of the same house, you will need to choose which one to keep and which one gets wiped. After all conflicts have been resolved, it will then copy all your data to the master server.

The end result is you have an account that can now bounce between servers and cross play.

I think with Google Stadia and certain server/client streaming services coming, if they take off, this will likely be something they will explore.

Why would those streaming services matter have any impact on this? They are going to use PC accounts, not console. And if there was a Stadia streaming app on a console, they wouldn't be streaming a PC account.

    You know this as fact?

From my understanding Stadia will stream client data, but it is possible and more effective for it be the server as well. If ZOS was to migrate their servers into Stadia it would both server / client and there would be fewer jumps the information has to make. Google also has infrastructure globally.

For instance, if Stadia only dealt with streaming and rendering the client that would mean User > Stadia > ZOS Sever > Stadia > User. Whereas if Stadia was the server as well it would simply be User > Stadia > User.

The point I'm making is, if Stadia, or services like that take off, there won't be a console market anymore. For the price of Xbox Live, you can now have your network and graphics services delivered to you on any device. It would really just be a matter of Keyboard / Mouse or Controller?

Cross platform push will be next gen. Sony won’t let MS take their cake given yesterday’s showcase. They’re (ZOS) not gonna bother with consoles already marked for expiration.

Do you mean Sundar Pichai? He is the CEO of Google. Ajit Pai is head of the FCC.

I'd be more bothered with having to deal with Google, I'm more interested with the industry idea and the competition it creates rather than having to deal with Google.

The FFC is going to start encouraging further Data caps for all sorts of Bs reasons. Stadia will be huge outside of US markets. Though you bring up another worry.

Yeah, not a ZOS issue, more of a User Issue. Research is free, this could of been easily avoided. I feel for you, I really do but a 5 minute Google search would of saved you a whole lot of issues/problems.

This post makes absolutely no sense to me. ZoS blew what exactly? None of the things you listed are actual Zos issues.
