After Elsweyr, which do you think performs better in PvE(dungeons, trials)? Is it a big difference?

    Stamblade is pretty much top dog in pve and pvp as far as stamina is concerned.
    Zaghigoth- Orc Stamplar

    Les Drago- Redguard Stamdk

    After nerfs to Major Fracture, Minor Endurance, etc, I thought Stamblade might have fallen off a lot by now. That isn't the case?

    I think stam sorc is technically a little better, but stamblade is way more fun. I would look at the skills in a few builds and see what you think will be more fun. You're going to be perfectly fine with either.

    Stamblade is still good in group PVE because the buffs they took away or nerfed are provided by other group members if the group is good. Solo DPS on a stamblade got nerfed considerably, although Im hearing it can be compensated for somewhat by changing the skills on your bar a bit. I have not been able to test yet because I needed to level up a skill I never used before...

    Sorc master class. Honestly it doesnt matter that much damage wise, it is more on the player than the class, so look up their skills, and chose what feels more fun to you :D

    I play sorc and not NB so I'm biased.
    Sorc have superior survivability for similar damage 😎

    They are currently virtually the same, both in a controlled environment and in trial situations.

    Checking on ESO Logs, their performance in raid scenarios were extremely similar.

    Below is their performance on Yolnahkriin in vSS (non HM since it has more parses), which is a pretty static fight:

    Realistically, the best option out there are Stamina necromancers, since they are the only DD spec to provide a group-wide damage increase that is stackable (in the sense that things like minor savagery/brutality/... and engulfing flame only require 1 DD) with Major vulnerability. This will not necessarily appear in the data yet since there are almost no raid made of a majority of stamina necromancers DDs for now.

    With the removal of Minor berzerk and Major fracture from stamblade's toolkit and considering Stamblade tends to scale better in trials due to higher critical chance and synergy with Warhorn, I'd expect stamina sorcerer to perform slightly better in purely self buffed scenarios. *

    That said, Stamina sorcerer has more passive survivability when using Surge, as well as a more reliable access to their major buff compared to Stamblade and an easier rotation, which should make it a more accessible spec to players with less experience. Nightblades have more mitigation thanks to focus, althought it is not consistent since you have to constantly fire the proc.

    I give it one patch cycle. You know they have to sell the current dlc and necro will be brought in line with everything else. Warden was the same way- and honestly if you care about 5% or less dps, you need to go outside and get some sunshine lol.

    Well I honestly don't, but I've been getting plenty of sunshine regardless :smile:

    Stamblade is the best IMO at open world PVP of the stam classes, it also seems to be the fastest for VMA currently. It’s not terribly useful in group PVP play (stam warden is prob best for that). It is behind stam Necro in single target DPS. I believe stamblade is still slightly ahead of same sorc for ST damage, but they are very close. Stam sorc is going to do more AOE and is going to be easier from a rotation difficulty standpoint.
