Help with Stamnecro

I have a PvE Stam Necro build (wearing 5 heavy, 1 medium, and 1 light for survivability, since I mainly solo) with DW and 2H on bars 1 and 2, respectively. I'm hoping to find a good skill rotation to help make things run a bit smoother. I'd like to keep my weapons melee.

I like running my class abilities (mainly Ricochet Skull and Hungry Scythe) as mag and relying on stam for my weapons. Currently, my Grave Lord is at 31, Bone Tyrant is at 26, and Living Death is at 13. Dual Wield is at 27 and 2H is at 32.

I'm currently running Ricochet Skull and Skeletal Mage (soon to be Archer) as my ranged and everything else for close quarters.

Any help is appreciated.

PvE overland doesn't need heavy armor to survive, you will be much better using medium armor for almost the same resists while dealing much more damage. If you care about survivability get vigor from pvp and you are good from that side. Magicka skills scale from spell damage and max magicka, while stamina skills scale from weapon damage and max stamina, so hybrids are not as useful as they could be. Almost anything in overland doesn't even need a rotation (maybe some world bosses).

Thanks for all the info so far! I'm definitely gonna use some of this stuff.

Just curious if running DW on front and 2H on back is viable for solo play? If so, which skills should I be focusing on?

You can also slot summoner's armour when you are solo'ing for extra resistances and mitigation passives. If you are using 2h then cleave will give you a nice shield as well. Better to use stam morphs where available, but a mag skill you can use is avid boneyard, it does good damage and you can use your own synergy as well.

Have your farmed out the skill "vigor" in Cyrodiil or battlegrounds yet?... Its a must heal for all stamina characters imo.

Hey guys this seems to be as good as any place to ask this so here it goes...I like theory crafting especially when it works im thinking of using sets that seems no one uses because i like solo play.

These sets are kvatch gladiator and night mothers gaze. Kvatch is two dual sword and dagger with both precise I believe. And kvatch bow precise all have poison Damage enchants. The kvatch jewelry all have weapon damage with all three having bloodthirsty.

I use a stamnecro that is orc. Class passives and weapon passives and race passives all obtained. Cp 676 and i cannot remember my placements at this time i will update

Basically in my mind this would be a great burner because of Bloodthirsty gladiator and the 5th from nmg. To even further it i am thinking on using boneyard with the one that also does major defile i believe.

I am using the kvatch setup with hundings currently but i want to see the effects of these sets together.
My monster is stormfist.
If i did this build i would apply the lover instead of the shadow for mundus.
I believe my cp is placed as such recalling from memory

In regards to trueblue yes 2h has the highest base damage but dw has slightly higher overall. My experience with 2h the crits hit alot harder and 2h has a skill that will buff your damage for I believe 32 seconds per cast

I find sustain is kinda meh on the necro even with the 200 regen bonus.

Depending on your race, if you chose imperial, orc or even khajiit you can run lava soup with 10-20 health attributes (imperials should run 10-12 orcs & khajiit 18-22) this will give you 16k + hp with the necro hp passive. dump the rest in stamina. This will give you crazy regen with a high stam pool.

For those who are 50 and are looking for gear to farm, I love tzo warbands on the necro. I replace trap with mortal coil the rotation is exactly the same. This gives you perfect sustain for any solo or small group content. Vma is alot easier for me doing this. For those without trial gear deadly strikes combined with warbands can get you 40-42k dps on a 6m dummy without major fracture or any other raid buffs.

LMAO. There are a million miles between: I use heavy armor on my solo stamcro and a Liko Parse.

But yes, if you want to see wanna at a stamcro can do when played by one of the best, this is it.

LOL...yea, that's pretty much where I was headed with that post. Just a heads up of what can be and not so much of what you will make it to be. Then again....OP could be the "next" Liko, ya never know!!!
