Tanking is godly...healer is most boring experience. Please make Rez ultimate do something with enemy corpses.

actually if rez could rez three players but also had the main effect of consuming corpses to summon a generic skeleton army with the morphs being as they are now, one adding blastbones if you actually rez some players, the other restoring resources, I don't even care if there weak it would just be fun to get that classic necro: *hand waves and army of undead rises*

would be nice if the main point of that rez ult was a timed undead army, and players were a bonus effect.

how have you found healing by the way in depth?

I agree with boring, as they have few passives that help and only 1-2 skills really worth anything. was kinda hoping it would give warden run for its money. . .

I wonder wtf were you expecting from a Necromancer class. Because in almost every mmo that’s what a Necromancer is about and that’s what it should be. But if 2 short duration pet spells make it a pet class for you, you clearly have no idea.

As per my opinion, I’m a bit let down. Necromancers in the elder scrolls lore are a variation/deviation of a sorcerer. If there is no problem with the sorcerers having 2 permanent pets I don’t see why the Necromancer can’t have at least a permanent skeletal mage, or a passive to increase its duration. Or an armor set, or a champion ability. Anything.

The bone armor should last more in one of the morphs. We know they made ir short duration because it creates a corpse but ffs it should be like the daedric armor with the sorc at least in the mag morph variation.

Not to mention how underpowered the Magicka version is compared to the stamina one.

Clearly there is a lot to improve here.

Played very little of it, and whilst I am a little disappointed that it's not a fully equipped Summon class like other games have, I will admit its fun enough.

My magicka necro is a mess! Low dps, a huge mess of a rotation, and the "positioning" factor with the tethers is just a clunky gimmick at best. I still like it for the RP factor of playing a foul class

Warden is base game? Are you certain of that?

You get Morrowind for free if you buy base game now. I think he was saying new players who buy the base game will now get Warden.

They removed Warden from this specifically for this reason. They made it a separate microtransaction... and yes, it results in a higher price than before (or did when I checked back when they first added it. Not sure current prices)

Nah, it’s cool factors get ignored by the fact stamina boils down to a static rotation in pve ignoring half its cool and interesting abilities.

Magicka Necromancer feels like it’s on the slop downwards to join its Magden brother. Mechanically flawed, bugged, low dps, it offers a more fun rotation with dynamic factors but it’s reward is non-existent with the lowest dps in the game currently.

The class has lots of fun skills, with being able to orintate ur gameplay around dead bodies to using abilities which create dead bodies to place damage well and more but with 0 reward as in pve it has too many side conditions to it to be enjoyable and pve wise is just outshined by less fun parts of its kit.

It has potiental to be fun but all it’s power is in its ultimates with weak skills and becomes a train of how hard u can abuse Goliath bash.

I wonder if they do it intentionally at this point so people who don’t buy the expansion don’t feel too bad and to avoid a “p2w argument” abrupting

Atleast warden is now free with base game we may see them do something with it

Warden is base game? Are you certain of that?

I got it on base game, if you buy the base game now, it isn’t unlocked for those who bought it before tho.

The eso base game edition now also includes it, however if u bought the game before they put it in the eso standard edition u have to buy it from crown store yeah.

I hate the justice system, and that's my only real complaint with the class. Everything else is pretty fun, imo.

It's not that bad. Just don't summon anything boney in town... why would you need to anyway (plenty of space around towns to duel without the watchful eyes of the... watch, watching you).

I've only gotten one bounty, clicking out of a guild trader (using a gamepad on PC), it accidentally double tapped and summoned in town. It was actually amusing. No worse than getting caught with your hands in someone else's pockets.

    I have a level 37 Magcro.

It was fun until level 20, when I realized it was nothing more than a gaudy glorified magden just like the one I leveled, geared up, then parked, haven't touched since.

As soon as I level this one up, I'm going to park it too, but without gearing it...live and learn. What a delusion.

I can definitely recommend it. Especially since it’s so easy to tank even with 64 points into stamina so you can still dps.

Most fun part - no queue wait times. I’ve instantly gotten a dungeon pop every time I’ve queued.

Visually, it looks nice but am not really feeling that it's all that special really. I find myself comparing it to Warden a lot, with Blastbones being Shalks, Skull as Cliff Racers, Graveyard as Winter's Revenge and so on but that's just IMO.
These are my sentiments exactly. It really just seems like a Dark Warden with a touch of Sorc.-

I dislike that I have to be aware of when and where I use certain skills, while my Daedra-summoning Sorcerer can go anywhere in the world with her DAEDRIC followers and nobody bats an eyelash. That is completely and utterly moronic. If they aren’t going to make summoning Daedra incur bounties, then neither should they have it for calling up dead bones.
I strongly agree But I wish they would Outlaw Deadra Summons in town just bc they're so obnoxious and distracting, Especially the Twilight that just engulfs everything within it's radius.
I had a new friend point out the absurdity of Necro being Outlawed while Vampire and WW is also ignored. I hope they revisit all of that with this new addition of skills that are Criminal Acts.

It's not perfect, but there's nothing a patch or two can't fix, assuming it gets one at all, which is highly likely.

I'm having a blast(bones) running through the old world content completing maps. With a well-timed Ravenous Goliath, my Mag spec can solo most World Bosses.

And I think the corpse mechanic is an interesting take on the archetype, if a little wonky right now. It feels a bit like the GW1 Necro.

Ive been waiting for years for this class and it feels half baked, skills not firing/bugged and very clunky.
I feel the same way. I've played the Necro in many MMOs since EQ, and ESO's iteration just falls flat. It doesn't feel like a pet class, or a master of the undead. Even the dumbfire skills are bugged.

It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry 'I could have thought of that' is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that they didn't, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too. - Douglas Adams

....and so, like with every other class, it seems opinions are generally split. Some like the class, some don't. Many are leveling a Necro now. Many will return to their mains, many already have.

The only way of ever knowing if you'll enjoy something is to try it out for yourself. For me personally, I've found my new main.

It feels a bit like the GW1 Necro.

Just not done as well and nowhere near interesting enough. It's got few skills of interest or use, particularly offensive skills, and it's the Ultimate that really carries the load. If it didn't have the Goliath I wouldn't play it much at all.
