Can I or bethesda unlink a steam account
As above, I'm sick of steam! Issues logging in, getting kicked etc. Have bought a fresh digital download but get message that I'm not eligible for the download code as account linked to steam. Don't fancy having to make a new account and start fresh

People have requested many times before to unlink their account, due to frequent problems with connection via Steam after upgrades. As I understand it, not only ZOS should agree to it, but Steam also should be willing to let players go. And they aren't.0 -

✭✭OP: have you tried just using the client directly (without the launcher)?
My Steam account could not login this way until last summer when I purchased the base game again directly from zos. Now I can. I've never tried the download again.0
