When trying to use the fire stones on the tamed vine-tongue it only grabs and stuns my character but will not pull her in/teleport her. I’ve finished Murkmire on three other toons and did not encounter this bug before.

    I can confirm I have the same issue, I can't complete the quest. Sorry I know this doesn't help, just wanted to confirm others have this issue.

    Yeah just tried to help a guildie out, my memento was working originally and his quest item wasn't. When I had the quest shared however and caught up to him and acquired the quest item, it didn't work for me either. Now after abandoning the quest my memento doesn't work lol

    My problem is it is throwing its tongue out at my toon and Kishi, but it only pulls Kishi. His NPC resets, rinse repeat. I can't cross the mud

    Okay for those getting the bug at the boss at the end where the fire stones don't work, there is a work around i found that works. What you need to do is engage the boss at the end of the path. Deal damage to him and when he returns to center to do his massive aoe, quickly turn around and run all the way passed the archway you spoke to the npc at. Wait about maybe 5 or 10 seconds, return back to the path and you'll see that you can attack boss again. Repeat this process until boss is dead. It should help you avoid his instant kill aoe. If he resets keep trying my method because you ran too far. It should be up until the archway. Hope this helps folks. I really wish they would fix the bug with the firestones not working

    I had this issue and if you go behind the walls then throw the thing at the plants it does pull you up then

    So, this is still busted. Trying to do this quest for the first time. Plants do NOT respond to the prompt, so my choice is either to die in the AOE or attempt to run far enough away that I apparently blue screen back to PS4 dashboard.

    Nice. Impossible quest.

    The vines did not pull me up either. I tried engaging Deroh-Zah at the start of the path where I entered its area and I was able to kill it, BUT it RESPAWNED before I could get to the next stage and I had to kill it again. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Remove his AOE attack. Better a vanilla boss and be able to complete it than an impressive but broken one.

    Finally got past it. Three times I killed the boss on my own, then another player came in when I was halfway through killing the boss for the fourth time. Together we killed it and the quest moved to the next stage. Too much work for one quest.

    So, I just got to this part and I am getting stun when I try to use the vines at the behemoth. This is really still bugged? This came out when? Zenimax just doesn't give a crap, or..?

    Cool. Died about 6 times to this bug before I realized it was a bug. Just did the work around that was suggested, killed Deroh-Zan, and didn't get credit for it. Great work as always zenimax...

    Does not take damage half the time either and when he does and I kill him the quest is nor progressed, he respawns and here we go again.
