Counterfeit Pardon Edicts gone

Hello. Do clean counterfeit pardon edicts get confiscated by guards when you pay off a bounty and surrender your stolen goods? I had 42 of them and, the next time I looked, I had three left, having not used any. Paying off a bounty is the only thing I can imagine might have caused this but I'm pretty sure I've paid off bounties with losing any edicts in the past.

Guards don’t confiscate items unless they’re marked “stolen”, @GenjiraX.

You may have just ‘mis-remembered’ which character had the pardon edicts ... or how many said character had.

If you’re sure it’s a bug, send in an Online Support ticket.

Thanks for your reply, @Taleof2Cities. That's what I thought. I only have one character (I only started playing a few weeks ago) so I'll try sending a ticket.

Did you by chance have them assigned to a quick slot? That can use items faster than you want to. Because you hit the button by mistake.

Hi @Nestor. I do have them assigned to a quick slot but, while that's a possibility, to accidentally use up 40 of them in a day without noticing and when I seldom select that slot seems very unlikely. I have occasionally brought up my banker when I hit the D-pad for a health draught but, yeah, 40 times is just not likely.

If you get that on a Thieves Trove then it's marked as stolen, then yes probably confiscated

Well, your not supposed to be able to use them unless you have a bounty.

Do you Launder them if they are marked stolen? I make sure to launder mine

    This!
If they were stolen and subsequently didn't get laundered, they remain marked stolen and will be confiscated ...
    ;)

It's funny to think about that:

-STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW. I got you for a 49 coins reward, now i will confiscate your 1billion of item-worth coin, now be gone.

    -NOOO!!!!! I have a pardon

-You have a stolen pardon from a true licensed thief? I'M CONFISCATING THAT TOO BE GOOOONEEEE

    -NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yes, I launder or sell all stolen goods very frequently. My 42 were all clean. Most of them came from Kari’s crime spree, anyway.
