Dual Wield Weapons PvE

I was trying to determine which weapon types to dual wield for my PvE stamsorc (Orc), and I see most people reccomend dagger/dagger nirn/sharp. However, through using the UESP builder the highest effective weapon power for my build is obtained with sword/dagger nirn/sharp. Am I misunderstanding the UESP "effective weapon power", or is it possible for sword/dagger to be better in some builds than dagger/dagger?

It might make sense to split between crit and damage. Twin blade and blunt works both ways.

Had you included major and minor force in your calculations? I think the dual wield daggers recommendations come with the assumption that you have some source of minor force and pretty good aggressive warhorn uptime.

That's it, I had included minor force but wasn't including major force. For my build dagger provides 0.4% more damage than sword when both buffs are active. Thank you!
