Didnt hated it as much as I thought I would.

I guess I was just furious with the nerf that came with it is all.

And no, I didnt murder any cat people, except those being used by the badguys. Coughnecromancercough.

Disappointed with the number of unaccessible doors in the Zone.

Waiting on some skill fixes including Blastbones.

But, it’s a pretty incredible Zone ...

Better than Summerset. The psjiic questline essentially being a grind and nocturnal's portrayal made me dislike Summerset. Plus the furstocks finally being potrayed is one of my favorite things that made me like the Elsweyr chapter.

Zone: Excellent - Feels like the biggest PvE zone so far. Love the verticality.
Content: Average - I'm almost done the zone and it feels like it was shorter than previous chapters. It wasn't too interesting either.
Furniture: Excellent - Will look great in my Princely Dawnlight Palace.

I loved it. I admit, it's mainly because of all the kitties. I swear I must have talked to every single kitty npc because I got all excited at them all. Big ones, small ones and skooma crazy looking ones, I was in kitty heaven.

I loved the content and story line, and the zone itself is way better than a lot of them - surprisingly big etc.

I just wish what story and content there was wasn't so short. I don't play for very long each night I'm on and I blew through the whole thing in less than a week. Used to be you could get a lot more value out of a $40 DLC than the ~10 hours spent here.

its ok I GUESS but tbh to few accessable doors made it feel smaller, the dragon plot made it sort of... ehh... i mean one super dragon? sure but "the return of the dragons" has been done before in the LAST elder scrolls installment so was kind of lack luster for me, and the over kill amount of nerfage to all the wrong things made quite alot of unhappy players while not buffing anything that isn't used at all to a useful state.

my favorite chapter so far

- love the visuals of the area
- thought the quest line was excellent even if i am not sure cadwell was necessary
- really enjoyed most of the side quests and characters (the thieves group is amazing) and was only slightly disappointed by one quest (Raz) because i thought it could have been much better
- love the new motifs - probably the highest quality motifs yet
- love the new trial which i think is the best / most fun yet with a very good length - not too short, not too long

so yeah...i think its excellent!

My favorite chapter so far. I've enjoyed all the quests so far and the npcs. I really liked the necromancy delve story with Sugarclaw(?).
It's also fun to play through as a khajiit, tho it's a little off-putting to be called outsider by other cats.
Dragon fights are fun... love watching them fly, their combat animations, etc.
Sunspire is quickly becoming one of my favorite trials.
I wish you could go into more buildings, and the content does feel short for the price. I enjoy it a lot, still.

It's gorgeous, and there's a lot to do. At the same time, however, the sheer amount of inaccessible spaces is a bit of a downer. That alone made it not quite reach its potential, especially when truly unique places like Hakoshae wound up being little more than window dressing with one quest and almost no accessible buildings.

I think aesthetics are great, but it doesn’t have near enough content to justify being advertised as an expansion of any kind. There’s not a single new aspect of the game to explore here. Morrowind has Battlegrounds, Summerset has jewelrycrafting, Eslweyr has nothing

It’s on par with Murkmire content-wise, even if the visuals are nice

Sure there are some bugs here and there. But those are not intended to be in the game.

Elsweyr is a fantastic chapter. ^^ The land itself is beautiful, it feels really great and immersive.

Dragons is something that people have wanted for ages and we finally got them. The way they are introduced is great. Also nice that if you encounter them in the wild it takes like 20 people to take it down. Makes it feel like a trial boss.

Talking smaller cats though hehe awesome! Funny spoiler below.

Not being a "cat" person or khajiit fanatic (they are ok, nothing against them rly) I dont have any bias whatsoever towards new zone.
If I were to compare Elsweyr Chapter to previous Chapter and zones (Morrowind and Summerset) I do belive so far Morrowind was the best.
But If I would add DLCs to the list, then so far, for me personally, Murkmire was the best Zone overall. And tbh. I rly cant tell why...
It simply has something that other zones dlcs & chapters do not have. A soul maybe ? Or maybe it has something to do with the design of the zone ? All I can tell for sure is Murkmire so far was the most immersive zone ever added to ESO. But keep in mind - that is my personal opinion.

Elsweyr for me is just "a zone". Nothing special rly.

I'm a big fan of the Murkmire DLC as well. The zone just has a wonderful aesthetic, especially with the ruins and such. Like you said, it has a certain... character to it, I guess?

The dragon fights are a nice addition and well done.
But overall it feels much 'shorter' than Summerset and I'm not so impressed by the visuals of the landscape.
I'm playing a Magicka Necromancer; there are some nice skills, but also a lot of underwhelming skills.
Curiously, I'm much more a fan of the chapter DLC, such as Clockwork City and Murkmire.

Love the dragon fights... finally engaging zone activity. It makes me hate overland a lot less.

Love traveling around the zone... it feels huge and has real depth to the island this time.

Love the dragon loot,... there's gold, housing stuff, and alchemy stuff some it's very repeatable content

Stories are always good with dlc but I hate questing so haven't got there

Necromancer tanking is super fun, healer is meh, dps is interesting

New sets are okayish but nothing for me to droll over. Also lack of necro theme sets for support is meh!

Rimmen is nice city to hang out though bank is super tiny... I got virtual claustrophobia ( it's a thing!)

I love seeing 4 necro classes with random dungeons. You can tell how loved class is.

I don't like what they did to blastbones either and I don't main dps roles

I don't like how you can't interact with some urns and boxes. It ruins what I like about TESO the most.

New mount is super cool along with pet rat.

I fine it very sensible they gave a free character slot this time and am appreciative of it.

Average

The huge number of inaccessible houses plus the rather smallish area are the downsides.
Dragons and lots of lootable containers are the upsides.
Story is average.
So after all, a good average rating.

Btw. I'd suggest to increase the strength of the dragons by quite a bit up to dramatically. This has to be a *really* tough fight, with lots of dead people around (probably including me...).

I am not a fan of Elsweyr type of landscape but I really enjoyed the chapter. Main story was OK, side quests were fun, npc dialogues were well planned. Land is very easy to travel around.

Except the bugs and late artival of the actual fixes, I enjoyed this chapter. Necro is another story though...
