Nope. And that's a problem. It is inexcusable to have such limited bank space when we are forced to share across all characters. Every other MMO ever lets you have a shared bank and your own bank per character. It's been 5 years. It's not like we are playing a game that doesnt encourage alts and is brand new.

Think yourself lucky at the moment, ZO$ might cut bank space to just 20 items, and sell bank upgrades for 245000000 crowns in store, pretty sure it will happen further down the line, in keeping with the player base milking.

Exactly. I cant believe this game still has the same bad designs it had at launch. It is truly unreal. I keep stupidly coming back hoping for QoL changes only to find it's the same non sense.

    They do?

GW2 has only an account-wide bank, and you can only buy expansions with gems.
SWL has only a character bank, also very limited without paying money.
BDO has different storages per town, which you can expand with money or contribution points. It's an interesting system, but not as practical as ESO's.

Which "every other MMO" are you talking about?

And who spends real money for storage space in this game?

    So what is the complaint?

You get 200 on your main toon easily and like 60 on any alt if you never upgrade them. That’s 620 right there.

Add in that you should have a personal guild bank, or at least a shared one, and that’s another 500 or so.

Then you get your regular bank which is, what, 480?

Add in that ESO plus gets you unlimited crafting and you should have more than enough.

If you have so much stuff that nearly 1600 slots isn’t enough, you need to bite the bullet and stop hoarding. Go spring clean your bank. Are you really going to need 45 monster helms? 58 shoulders? Are you using bank space on helms or shoulders that aren’t monster sets? Are you really hoping that the 80% of useless gear in this game somehow gets buffed?

Keep what you need. Sell and deconstruct what you don’t. You have enough space.

TERA is shared bank only, as well.
Star Trek Online is character banks, but you can pay $10/10 slots to get a small shared bank.

    ---
Either way, expanding the bank isn't that expensive in gold, if you're actually to the point that you need it. Heck, the weekend furniture vendor sells things up to 100k gold. I saved up for a couple months (just doing crafting writs & a bit of thievery; no trade guilds) and bought a 1.3mil house. Bank expansions aren't honestly that much. Why waste crowns on it?

(if you have 8 characters, doing crafting writs for the bank gold isn't that hard. And if you don't have 8 characters, making a new one to be a mule is super easy.)

Serious question ... why would someone keeping unstackable glyphs in their bank? I can see siege because you may need to empty and refill before PVPing, but wouldn’t glyphs be the next most relevant non stacking thing?

Also, if you have too many transmutation geodes just deconstruct them.

I have 810 slots for storage.

    480- bank
    330- chests

How many chests have you purchased? Do you have a fully upgraded bank? Are you using all 8 (9 if you bought elsweyr) base slots?

If you wanna be technical, I have three toons right now good for nothing but holding at 100 (total cost like 25k gold each to reach that) per toon, bringing my total to 1110 inventory slots.

I've been of the opinion for a long time now that increasing inventory slots will only keep us happy for a couple of days. Those of us who have inventory problems (I bought a 2nd account to hold things that are not bound) will always have inventory problems. We will fill all the new slots that we get then complain that we need more room. I have all the chests for my homes and they are filled with nothing but armor. Give me another and I will fill it with armor. Won't take long either.

No and considering how easy it is to get gold in the game I do not see this as an issue. Considering bank storage unlocks are a one time in game purchase I am scratching my head wondering what the big deal is.

I am admittedly a hoarder in this game, but the bank situation is terrible in a couple of cases

    1) No ESO+ - I don't know how you play this game without craft bag, but I'm impressed. I couldn't manage it.

    2) Tanking and Healing Armor - everybody expects tanks and healers to have every combination of good sets so you can work with the other person in that role in your trial group. It really adds up badly. Especially if you both tanks and healers. I have several chests of this kind of stuff. My dps characters have it way easier, those usually just 2 sets (pve and pvp)

    3) Stupid stuff that doesn't stack - I'd put stuff like siege equipment, transmutes, glyphs, ect in this category. Also, items like keys that can't be put in the bank. Theres no reason it shouldn't stack, and I'd additionally say 200 isn't high enough for stacks. It should be at least 999.

    4) Furniture - nothing stacks, you can't decon anything and the only way to store it realistically is storage houses. Unfortunately it makes it hard to find stuff since you have to remember what storage house you put it at and where it is within in the house.

    5) When you use and play all your characters you can't really use them as storage. I have 15 (soon to be 18) max cp toons with 1-4 gear sets stored on each. I can't really use them to store extra stuff if I actually want to play them without making people wait to dump stuff.

    My solutions:
    1) Furniture gets the storage house treatment or is sold. I hate it, but I don't have the storage otherwise
    2) The chests hold armor sets that are shared between toons, mostly tanking amd healing but there is some other stuff too. I try to keep it organized my type and the chests labeled. Its annoying because I have to remember to put it back, but theres too much for the bank.
    3) surveys stay on my farmer toon, excess treasure maps are mailed to 2nd accout to get them out of inventory but I'll sell them or give them away if I'm not getting to them though. Its super frustrating that I'm getting to the point that my surveys and some maps won't fit on a single character....
    4) Transmutes are stored on a single character so I can find them.
    5) Things I'm holding onto for a bit or plan on selling (motif pages, recipies, unbound armor to sell, golden/lux vendor stuff mostly) is mailed to a storage account. Items are organized by character, its surprisingly easy to find stuff.
    6) Armor is deconned if its not in normal use or super hard to get. I've deconned so much older golded stuff. It hurts every time, especially the times I've had to refarm it. ) :
    6) Bank is mostly full of stuff waiting to be sorted. I've been trying to do it once a month, but thats probably not enough since my bank is always full. I just can't seem to make myself do it more than that.

That's a silly reason to not play a Stamina character. You are telling us that you sub (so mats are not an issue) and 480 bank spaces, 200 spaces per character, and house storage is not enough to carry the load?

The problem is NOT the amount of space then.
