It most likely has been done already (several times, I would imagine). Not everyone feels the need to write a thread about their accomplishments to boost their egos.

Gamers generally have very low egos, let them at least boost it ingame :)

Yes gamers have very low egos, unfortunately when some of them get ingame to boost their ego, the sky tuns black cause their headsbecome so huge that it blocks the sun 😆😛😂😂

How would you keep other players from joining? These dragons have been crowded every time I’ve seen them. Unless you mean within the Sunspire trial, which is designed in such a way that it would be very difficult or impossible to solo.

I'm sure there is a downtime, someone should have found some dragon with noone else around? I'm a console pleb now so I don't know how crowded it is in Elsweyr.

I don't think there is downtime, whenever a dragon is under attack, it will show in the map and everyone rush to it. And if there are a lot of high end players, dragon die very fast.

If someone had soloed one, you can rest assured a video would be posted. Human nature. :D

Idk about that. It would take to long to solo and someone would come before then

I highly doubt it has been done due to the simple fact that it's impossible to keep others from joining the fight.

Not a chance. It's crowded at all times.

I play on PC/NA during off-hours (midnight to 7:00 AM). I've attempted a number of dragons during those hours and always had other players join. It's 4:00 AM right now and zone chat is brimming with activity.

I would imagine that even years after release, it will still be impossible to find a time with no one else online (Vvardenfell and Summerset are still full of people in the middle of the night).

It wouldn't be that difficult to do, their rotation and skills arnt that hard to understand and if you stay out of the nasty stuff they don't hit that hard with proper shield timing and heals, it would just take an age.

Its very hard to solo open world bosses due to other folks (quiet rightly) also wanting the kill.
As such it has to be 'arranged' - if folks could solo some of the Dragons in EQ back in the day this would be a piece of cake.

    Be safe :)

Give it a couple of months for the shine to wear off it and you'll have trouble attracting people.

Not really. Summerset and Vvardenfell are still full of players at all times of the day/night.

I imagine it would take 15+ minutes to solo a dragon. And given they are marked on everyone's maps and are part of the daily quest system, I'm going to guess there will never be a time that this is achievable.

They are perfectly soloable with a tank/ hybrid build (or a shield stacker with great reflexes). You can log into PTS and create a max level toon and test it yourself. PTS is pretty barren these days.

Some. For others its like I ran into tonight. Some clown went to the fishing holes and took the time to catch 14 fish and leave so the next person gets 1 and it goes dry. And on their way around they found chests and deliberately left the worthless item so it would not respawn.

And this makes them feel good about themselves

    Really sad

Not on Xbox NA AEST. Summerst can be... challenging, and Vvardenfell? Just don't bother.

i doubt it is unlikely as i have 3 manned a dragon already and if it makes u happy and we could provide the scenario where people wouldnt jump in i would happily solo it for you.

You see there are these things called timezones, other players live in different countries and have different hours of play.

You won't find a time when there are no other players around, who would join in the fight against the dragon, especially this soon after release.

Maybe in a few months when the newness wears off and the zone empties a bit, someone will manage it but personally see no point in doing it, seems a waste of time to me.

Vvardenfell seems busy because everyone is sitting in Vivec to do writs. Ask in /z for people to do a WB: crickets.

For the most part I think you're right, but I stood around the one in the farm field last weekend for 20 minutes before anyone else showed up (it was early Sunday afternoon, EDT). I didn't feel like running to one of the other dragon fights so I stayed there running around the dragon to see how closely it would watch me.

Not that I would have attempted to solo it with a level 5 character...

“Worlds first” is the most cringe and pathetic thing to come out of the ESO community.

At least if it was “First to do ...”

But the word, “world” makes it sound like they’ve done something extraordinary that millions all over the world attempted to do too

Nah there's consumable alchemy integredit, and rare motif drops, no to mention decent gold for new players. There's also food for new players.
