Just out of curiosity, which one do you prefere?

ESO offers a wide variety of weapon and armor styles, some plain and simple, others really fancy and rich with decorations.

Which one is your favorite? I prefere Plain stuff, just a normal 2 Handed Sword on my back, or a big Hammer, and an Armor/Costume that looks practical.

Totaly plain, like something you would find in the real world. A bit broing, but I like it.

It honestly depends on which character I'm customizing.

For instance, my Breton Templar healer wears the fabricant skin and Apostle armor and rides a dwemer spider (going for a more fancy mechanical appearance), whereas my Orc crafter runs around in a bath towel and rides a guar (he's a simple guy).

It really depends on which character I am playing. On some I prefer the big, bulky and shiny look. On others I like the total casual, and on some others I might enjoy the less flashy, but stil a little flashy. Subtle flashy.

Two of my characters as example here. They're basically the same look and I like it on them. Sleek and fits them. My tanks and healers are a bit more bulky when it comes to their looks.

I can go both ways but tend to lean toward fancy and wild. Plain styles don't usually stay on my guys for long.

Lol no it's amazing never change. :3

To honestly answer the poll tho... I have two outfit slots. One is a nice, simple "monster hunting" getup in tame colors with silver dawn and then pretty basic pieces. My "immersed" getup. xD
My other slot I change up a lot. Currently it's a simple, realisticish tribal getup. Sometimes it's pretty outlandish and fun to match the crazy skins like silver or gold or zmaja.
I like variery but GENERALLY I like the more slightly-adorned but mostly basic styles.

Not really into spikes and horns, but yes, a little decoration, nothing over the top.

What I'm really missing in this game is some sexy looks that aren't tribal. It seems that in Tamriel you can't show skin and be civilized at the same time. At least when it comes to outfits.

I like to mix and match. Ugly, pretty, intricate to plain, fancy or not. With mixing color palettes to provide a more realistic tone to the combination.

Depends on the character. I always try for something which doesn't look totally out of place in the game, but that doesn't have to mean it's plain. I have an idea of each characters personality and what they'd choose to wear. Some are more practical or understated than others and each has their own style.

I could definitely imagine my nord dragonknight choosing very heavy, very spiky, very black armour and thinking it made her look awesome. I could also imagine my sorcerer rolling his eyes and making some snarky comment about how a lady shouldn't wish to be mistaken for a daedra. Then backing down when she glared at him.

Well it's not as simple as the poll suggests. Any time I'm doing content that requires precise timing I will run soul shiven weapons with the skeleton polymorph just to decrease lag. But when I'm just hanging out I like to be a bit flashy to show all the cool dyes I have collected.
    PvP needs more love.

I usually try to stick with the simple realistic looks. I just wish there was a hide shoulders option. I'm not a fan of most of the shoulder options.

I am an imperial named Uriel, I ride the imperial horse, and my pet is a nibenay mudcrab. My outfit is like tier 2 imperial cloth, and my weapon style is prophet's staff. Doesn't get more vanilla than me bruh.

I started out as the first option.

But over time I decided I could do a bit more. Settled on the Mercenary/Undaunted style, with the Engine Guardian arms pack, including head/shoulder.

I'd be lying if I said the temptation to roll back to Breton medium armour wasn't there though.

    Where is the Both/All/Other option?

It all depends on the character for me and mine can vary a lot in style. Only rule I have to them is that they are immersive.

This topic is reminding me of the contrast between topics where people asked to be able to reskin weapons and armour vs topics about the wardrobe system when it was first released.

Before it was added one common objection to something like the wardrobe system was that loads of players would put the rarest motifs and tier 4 racials on all their low-level alts and it would look ridiculous and completely devalue rare or hard to get motifs and defeat the point of levelling characters to get better equipment. (Oh and everyone would dye their weapons pink, which would be so much worse than the light red ones everyone at CP150 or above was stuck with.)

But when the wardrobe was released the most common reaction I saw was people who were really excited to be able to get back the low level skins they had loved using but had to give up because the character had levelled past them.

I love sleeker looks. There are limited options for this, it seems, due to hip and crotch flaps. I really wish we had the option to hide those.
