so i've noticed that in general, different class mains have very different personalities and general mannerisms. im not gonna say my own opinion as to not skew results, but the question is, which class seems to be the most friendly and peaceful players? as a pvp tryhard this kind of stuff is very noticeable to me, but i was wondering what the rest of the playerbase thinks. no necro because its way too early for any noticeable trends to show, in addition to no one knowing if theyre actually maining it because its nonfunctional, to put it lightly.

ok now that youve scrolled down im gonna share my answer and say templars. i dunno if its because theyve just never actually been overpowered or if their jab hardship makes them understand their place in the universe and as such they achieve a greater state of being through using a janky as *** skill as their spammable, but so many templar mains are just like, the chillest people. i love them.

I do not see Necromancer on the list. It has a spamable which restores hit points and you are able to summon your own healer and DPS to travel along with you in your overland adventurers.

Tbh I have never seen or noticed a correlation like this... maybe because most people play multiple classes. In the pve environment I've seen metachasing folks with basically every class who can be pretty petty or needlessly rude if you don't fit their ideals. But some of the nicest people I've met also roll multiple classes, too. I don't feel like any single class draws a large number of people from either spectrum. People are people.

Or it's clear that in your mind you associate Templar with healer and naturally have a kinder opinion of that class because you associate it with being benevolent. Some of the worst humans I've met in game and on the forums were Templars. But don't worry on average Nightblades and Magsorcs are the scummiest. I'd say Nightblades take the cake though.

When I said you were wrong, it wasn't about which class is nicer. It was about you saying that the people voting templar are clearly new. Many of us are far from new to the game.

I´ve not voted templar because i´ve only voted from a dps perspective.

Usually most healer players are friendlier than the average DPS or Tank - regardless of class. In Eso most healers happen to be templar and the dpsplars i know are mostly toxic little rats :P

I voted nightblade just to be annoying.

Why, yes, my main is a nightblade, why do you ask?

I also have a couple wardens that are 50+, too, though; necro will soon be my 4th 50+.

Anecdotally I'd say Templar; my best guess is that Templar hasn't been OP for a loooong time, so the sweaty tryhard neckbeards have all been meta-hopping across other classes. The day Templar becomes FOTM is the day this poll flips.

That is because a Templar can't kill anyone.

Okay maybe that isn't true. My Templar has kills and I am not good when it comes to PvP outside of healing. With necromancy being a thing now my DK might find purpose in PvP land again. He will almost always be an available corpse to take advantage of.

I’ve done an extensive study on my opinion and the statistics show it’s a fact that all the worst people are Sorcs.

They inconsiderately leave out their purple flappers, they streak in town causing migraines, they are the loudest complainers on the forum. So every single Sorc is going to heck.

    I’m only half joking. ;)

Not sure I can answer this. I know friendly people that main each of the classes.

But, totally unrelated, I would say when it comes to Faction, DC people are the friendliest. :)

well more support oriented classes - e.g. templar and warden are usually more often played by women which are usually less aggressive and competitive so there ya go... besides anything that screams "pvp" or "assassin" is usually preferred by younger males which are the most aggressive and competitive...

From my experience in PvP, Nightblades and Sorcs are automatically eliminated -- I don't know why, but whenever a player singles me out, follows me across the entire map, and ends up T-bagging, it's usually a StamNB or MagSorc. Dragonknights are somewhere in the middle, sometimes respectable and sometimes annoying. They usually play fair and support their teams. Wardens are alright overall (seem like a support oriented quiet bunch), and Templars seem to be the nicest.
