I have a level 27 High Elf Templar - checked crown store - This character CAN purchase vampirism
I have a level 20 Imperial Warden - checked crown store - This character CAN purchase vampirism

I have a level 20 High Elf Sorcerer - checked crown store - This character Can NOT purchase vampirism

In blod red it says "Requirements Not Met"

Why can't I buy vampirism for my Sorcerer - which is the only one I want vamp on

Are you a werewolf by any chance? Then it won't work unless you cure yourself.

Why would buy vampirism though? Just have a player bite you.

Just to add to this, you always see people offering in zones like the rift, and Reaper's March. If not, ask in guild chat.

Just don't go with anyone who asks for gold in exchange, plenty of people will bite you for free.

One more suggestion, why not search the forum for vampire guild... Or just hang around a while by one of the shrines I posted further up.

You dont necessary have to be WW or Vamp, not to be able to buy skill line via crown store.
All it takes is to have "Sanies Lupinus" effect (if you got bitten by WW NPC mob). This effects allows you to do quest in which you get WW skill line.

Similar with Vamp - of you get bitten by a Blood Fiends NPC mob you also get some "Vampirism" effect that allows you to do the quest in which you can get Vamp skill line.

btw. Go to any zone where there are WW or Vamp shrines and ask on chat. "LF Vamp bite" etc. There are plenty of people giving those for free.

    OK, here's a question

Can you accidentally get vampirism or lycanthropy without trying???

The info seems to be hinting that the character is infected. But there is no skill line and he doesn't look ugly as per vamp bite.

Guess I'm gonna go see the priest and find out what, if anything I managed to pick up

Yes. Check your character page and look under active effects. If it says vampirism or lycanthropy, you have either been bitten by a blood fiend or werewolf at some point. If you have vampirism, all you have to do is complete the quest and you’ll be a vampire. If you have lycanthropy, you’ll have to get it cured before you can become a vampire.

Someone will approach you with a quest and tell you to go the shrine. Ya, check google for specifics. Not sure how werewolf works. I know that when I had vampirism and ported into Evermore shrine in Bangkorai, there was a vampire waiting to give me the quest- “go to the shrine,” etc.

you can if you are in either bankori, the rift or reapers march as these regions have the special werewolves and bloodfiends that give the infection.

the infection will show in your character info but the skill-line won't enable until you do the vampirism quest, same goes for lycanthropy.

also if your looking for vampirism/lycanthropy for a character don't buy it from the crown store, just wait at the vampire/werewolf shrines there is usually someone there willing to give a bite for free.

Rawl-kha was the answer. Got the NPC there.

I think I remember fighting a werewolf on the road to Jodes Light during the Elsweyr prologue. Made an impression because he was pretty tough. Didn't think anything about it at the time.

Well, this character's story just got interesting. Magicka sorc that now is gonna be a werewolf. Might be a fun surprise in Pvp. Someone thinks they are fighting a mage and suddenly jumps them as WW.

Kinda funny tho. All the players trying to find a WW bite and my sorc ends up with one without looking for it. As my hero, Al Bundy (Married with children) would say.... "Of Course!"

    Thanks for the assist all

    Really appreciate it
