The guy that gives you the quest is missing. Anyone know why? Checked back 3 times... did he move? Thanks

The DLC pledge giver is missing as well. Perhaps they messed something up with him as well. He was there yesterday when I certified the last of my new characters in jewelry crafting.

I'd submit a bug report through the game.

Tenacious Dreamer - Hurricane Herald - Godslayer - Dawnbringer - Gryphon Heart - Tick Tock Tormenter - Immortal Redeemer - Dro-m'Athra Destroyer
The Unchained - Oathsworn - Bedlam's Disciple - Temporal Tempest - Curator's Champion - Fist of Tava - Invader's Bane - Land, Air, and Sea Supremacy - Zero Regrets - Battlespire's Best - Bastion Breaker - Ardent Bibliophile - Subterranean Smasher - Bane of Thorns - True Genius - In Defiance of Death - No Rest for the Wicked - Nature's Wrath - Undying Endurance - Relentless Raider - Depths Defier - Apex Predator - Pure Lunacy - Mountain God - Leave No Bone Unbroken - CoS/RoM/BF/FH Challenger

Well you can't expect him to stand around all day can you? He's probably on a break or taking a nap. Geez people can be so needy, give the poor guy a break.

Are you Level 6? Until then, you won't see the Writ Quest givers

He was there for me as soon as my newly made alt turned level 6.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

he was there today, when I certified 4 alts, though they were all at CP level.

Heard about people being unable to get the DLC pledge today hadn't really looked into it.

Did Elsweyr change that for non-Jewelry Certification?

This question came up a few weeks back on ESOReddit with someone not getting anything from the Writ Boards, but they had already certified before Level 6.

I ran my own tests to confirm and found that you can certify at any level, just can't get writs until Level 6.

I don't know about all DLC areas, but I was able to certify in the first Main City of Character Alliance as soon as the character was created.

It has been a while but I do remember with my Mules, I could not even find the quest givers until they were L6 to get the Certifications. ZOS has changed this around a number of times, as I remember being able to due writs at L3 back when.

I did not even bother with my Necro until he was in the teens.

I just recently certified some alts in all crafts except jewelry pre-level 6. When I went to find the jewel crafter certifier, alas, he was not there. I leveled one to 6 and viola!, he appeared. i think that sums up the current mechanics of certification.
