as a player who enjoys the endgame content, vet trials, hardmodes, this is an amazing tool to help me figure out what im doing wrong or how much dps sets are doing so i can get good comparisons.
combat metrics was useful to an extent, but it had shortcomings that the new encounter log and esologs dont have, plus i can run the logs as i play and come back ot it later after Im done to see my logs, without having to save each individual parse in cmx
plus its fun to compete with my team members.
Im glad eso opened up, warcraftlogs and fflogs were amazing for their games, im glad we now have the option.

- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Kihra✭✭✭It might be possible to get CP and stat info from a CMX export, but it would require each person out of the 12 to do it, and it would be an extra step at the end of the raid night that I'd have to build into the uploader. And CMX would have to add dumps into the SavedVariables of the raid night, e.g., CP distribution every time the player enters combat as well as initial stats, and then dump stat changes events as well.

Apox✭✭✭✭✭cp distribution would be cool but typically green doesnt change, red is figured out by the big name guilds on a trial by trial basis, and blue is determined by constellations addon.

Well bye then, this tool is proving with out a doubt invaluable to any veteran progression or score pushing group. Nobody in a pug dungeon group cares enough to upload a log just to call out your 10k dps they already know. The only thing I've seen is so called top tier dps bois getting called out because they're not as good as they think they are.Delta

Logs have allowed us to see where we need to improve upon in many different facets of the game. The major basis revolving around it is for progression groups in trials to figure out why they can’t complete certain content, or why they’re struggling. You can literally see not just how your dps is doing, but how your supports are doing, in-depth (uptimes, casts, etc).
People become butthurt because “my dps sucks, and I’m getting exposed, and I don’t like it!” It’s not all about dps, but it sure does help to see it.Edited by XiDiabolismiX on May 26, 2019 1:33PM1 -

Create an account and install the Client. Simple as that. In game press ESC, Settings and I think it's under Combat (not in game atm) and change the setting for ESO Logs from Anonymous to On.
Once you get in a dungeon open Chat and type in /encounterlog to start logging. When done with the dungeon once again open Chat and type /encounterlog to stop recording.
Then start the Uploader you installed, log in and upload the file to t he website. Log in to the website (yeah, it's a separate login) and view your dungeon run. Pretty cool stuff in there!1 -

the few good trials players on console are also migrating to pc as well. i joined a guild of people who migrated as a whole from console to pc.1 -
