Seriously you bring the game down for maintenance and do not fix this bug.
Its the MAIN QUEST LINE for ********** sake, you now have with me 20+ people who cannot progress and its 8am, by the end of today it will be 100's.
You have not posted any ETA to fix.

if the issue is so complicated cant they just enable us to start questing in the other zones or grant completion for the quest. I for one couldnt give a *** about the story line at this point with all the buggs1

This is the main quest in Coldharbour and we can't move forward until it's sorted. Progress is literally blocked.
I don't care how problematic it is, they need to be coming up with a solution.2 -
There is a way to do it. Although frustrating we managed to do it. You need to gather everyone at the bridge. If people are too close to the objective the bug will persist. After a while the quest will reset and you will be able to do it. Requires a lot of patience however.0

It worked.
Although it did take a couple of hours to get this part of the quest done.
Small army of people stood there and folk still run into the room. They must think we enjoy standing around listening to 12 people play out of tune on lutes.1 -

Duh, what, does everyone think that ZOS stopped working on the game or something? Of course it's not acceptable, but it's happening. Deal with it until it gets fixed. Nothing in this thread is constructive, so what's the point?
