Whats your favorite visual special effect in game?

Are you a special effects lover like I am? There are so many temporary and permanent gear effects in game. I always get excited ...when for instance I pull out my AY daggers. Their brief yet bright shine reminds me of how many G** ***N farm runs I had to run to get them, lol. I know SE's are not to everyone's liking (some cannot stand them period, or care).

For me I have many I adore but Alkosh/Moondancer special effects are some of my favorite. My least favorite (more of an motif that SE but w/e) is dro m'athra gear...I've grown to find this style repulsive. These are just my opinions, lol.

If you do enjoy...what's your favorite? If you don't like them...what's your least favorite.

I particularly like the stop frame animation that accompanies my every journey through Alinor

The 1 - 6 FPS stop motion effect is a constant joy and serves to brighten up any trip to Summerset.

I also enjoy the ‘trails his weapons behind his arse’ effect that makes my character look like he can drag things about with the power of his behind.

Medium armor buff
Dragon Blood.
Dark Cloak
Hurricane
Blade Cloak
Bloodspawn
Stone Giant
Rally
Mechanical Acuity.

All these abilities could have AWSOME visual effects projecting power yet they make characters look like paint was thrown on them.

Compare Igneous Weapons to various crown store weapons as well.
That is the difference of quality right there.

Too bad that combat is very floaty without gravity and impact, looking glitchy with AC, which some defend as skill even tho it takes 10mins of practice.

Interesting - it must be your potato. I never drop below 60 FPS anywhere in the game (not including Cyrodil) and I have my graphics setting on max. Game looks like I'm playing a movie.

For me the best visual effect is Elemental Blockade on my Sorc. The Flame and the Shock versions are both great. That is if your potato can handle it...

I want visual feed-back that something I requested has happened, or warning that an opponent has started an attack, and FX that just get in the way of those notifications is counter-productive.

I feel like everyone is sleeping on the long forgotten Bound Armaments passive toggled on. It was my FAVORITE thing and seeing a picture of someone using it was like.. 20% of why i made a magsorc all those years ago.

i miss that very much.

I like a lot of the necromancer vfx. I forget which one it is, I think the basic heal that surrounds you in purple fog when you use it? love that.

My favourite is the level-up animation. The sound it makes and the light make for a really satisfying combination, and I wish they'd re-enable it for every champion point past 1000.

I really liked the aura from bound aegis (it's too short now as an active skill) and the infal/alkosh weapons look fantastic. I would like to see more of these kind of things as a cosmetic add on instead of being tied to gear.
